Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Reyes is big, and she's spindly. She's got lank to her. While she can throw a wicked punch, Reyes is more the type of woman who can twist and wind and skitter to get out of the way of someone who wants to beat her head in. Fit, strong, but not overly muscled because she's not a bodybuilder, she's got practical skill, you know?
There are scars on her sides and under her floppy hair. Old self-harm scars line her arms and inner thighs. Reyes' body tells a story, even as her eyes spark and she tries not to let on that she's really not doing too hot, man.
Body Features
Several noticable self-harm scars -- cigarette burns and knifescars -- on her inner arms and her inner thighs and along the backs of her legs.
Reyes's tail has a perpetual twist in it because it was broken one too many times.
Facial Features
Reyes' snout comes to a sharper point than a rat's ought to, but the slope of her snout and the stripes along her cheeks and mask get across her hyena heritage. Her smile is slow-spreading and toothy, showing off the two pointed forefangs that certainly are not the rounded teeth of a rat. Reyes' jaw is full of hyena's teeth, pointed near the front, but a bit flatter along the farther back you get in her jaw.

Where the normal front teeth of a rat would be rounded, Reyes' are sharp.
Special abilities
Reyes is capable of speaking with Wisps of the woods and other natural-spirits. She doesn't quite realize that the entities she's speaking to are very, very real, but she does like to talk to them and truly does value their insight. On top of this, Reyes can close her eyes and project her spirit out into a tree. Doing this keeps her flesh-body from feeling physical pain. It's a handy skill when you've got the history she does.
Apparel & Accessories
Reyes dresses in tanktops, khaki shorts, athletic shorts-- she's usually got her arms out, in defiance of the scars. She likes to wear flashy fashion, but also adores a good camo shirt. Even more than that, Reyes likes to wear wristbands, bracelets, watches; anything she can fiddle with while she's going about her business is good in her book.

Gender Identity
Reyes has a complex relationship with her gender. She was a tomboy before she was butch, and that left her being treated as one of "the boys" in a lot of ways. Unfortunately, not being a boy meant that Reyes still came up with a particularly skewed view of her gender. See, the only way she got by was by being-- well, kind of a prick like a lot of the guys were, at least up front.
As such, Reyes is very much the kind of person who acts more secure in her gender than she is. All the damn posts she sees online about how butches are sexual objects to be coveted and desired and obeyed certainly haven't helped either, because that's not what Reyes wants, but it's what Reyes has had to deal with.
Intellectual Characteristics
Kind of sleazy, and self-aware of this. Reyes believes that she has to be this way, because it's the only way she's ever been accepted. When she acts up, folks-- even the ones who want to bash her -- look past that. You have to fit the box you're put in.

Likes & Dislikes
Really, really, really doesn't like that people assume she's actually as promiscuous as she acts. Reyes makes jokes and flirts because she has to; that's what you have to do when you're a tough butch like her. You have to be that pedestaled object of desire. You can't be your own person. She can't tell others about her whittling, because they'd just smirk and laugh and roll their eyes and say of course you do something like that.
Truth is, Reyes is sensitive and soft. She's nervous. She hides it with bright flashy clothes and a forward, sneer-sleaze sort of manner, even if it bothers her. God, please let someone treat her nicely for a change. It's all she wants.
Virtues & Personality perks
Loyalty. Reyes is loyal. She doesn't cheat-- not even when a partner treats her badly. Her friends? Domino? She'd die for them. You can take a blowtorch to her whiskers, her tail, and she won't give up a secret that someone's told her. Reyes takes that stuff seriously, you know.
Vices & Personality flaws
Reyes really likes to speed. When she's driving, or when she's out on a four-wheeler, she's going much faster than she should be. Thrills are great, but there's nothing like just roaring along the road or trail. It's exhilarating. It's incredible.
Reyes also likes alcohol a little too much, but she's trying to kick that particular habit.
Personality Quirks
Tends to say "man" and "y'know" and "boss" a lot. They're sentence enhancers. She also curses like a sailor, to the point where obscenities are a sign she really, really likes you.
