Sixgun Samurai

Month of the Rat, 1864

A combination of the setting of Legend of the Five Rings samurai drama RPG and the weird west pulp of Deadlands.   The country is Rokugan. The year is 1864. The clans of the North and South are engaged in a bitter civil war. Emperor Rinkan of the North has declared all burakumin free from the kharmic wheel and elevated above non-person status.   After a particularly bloody battle, a great calamity rocks the land, opening up great fissures in the earth and breaking down the walls between the mortal world and the Spirit Realms.
