Erabor Guild
The Erabor Guild is one of the four principal trade guilds of Aqribia , a vital hub of commerce in northern archioua . The guild specializes in logging, lumber refinement, and wood transport, and has managed the majority of the region’s timber industry since the city's founding in 529 RS by Ellurius Aqrubia. Named for the influential Erabor family, the guild has grown into one of the most enduring powers in Aqribia.
Leadership
The guild is currently led by Reldan Erabor a seasoned lumberman and direct descendant of the guild’s founders. In his early sixties, Reldan bears the strength and wear of a life spent in forests—broad-shouldered, with bark-brown hair streaked with gray and perpetually calloused hands.
He is known for his deep commitment to sustainable forestry, often standing against short-sighted expansionism. As a member of Aqribia’s ruling Council of Eight, he brings measured, grounded leadership to the city’s political stage.
Role in Aqribia
The Erabor Quarter, one of four districts governed by trade guilds, is alive with sawmills, timber canals, storage yards, and woodcraft workshops. The guild supplies lumber to Aqribia and surrounding settlements, and is vital to construction efforts, shipbuilding, and other infrastructure needs across northern Archioua.
It maintains strong working relations with the Church of Solarius, particularly in building and fortifying remote outposts and monasteries.
Structure and Operations
The guild is divided into three main circles:
The Circle of Axes – Oversees forest operations and logging crews.
The Circle of Sap – Manages timber processing, drying, and preservation.
The Circle of Rings – Handles trade logistics, agreements, and long-haul delivery.
These circles report directly to the Guildmaster, and their representatives form the Erabor Inner Ring, a council that advises on all major decisions.
Relations with Other Guilds
Meral Guild (Miners): Collaborative, particularly in construction efforts requiring both wood and stone.
Setron Guild (Stone Carvers): Professional respect, but no direct resource exchange due to overlapping roles as raw material suppliers.
Reglis Guild (Couriers): Occasional disputes over road and canal access, though these are generally resolved through arbitration.
Guild Symbol
A silver axe embedded in a tree stump, with golden leaves curling upward—representing strength, regeneration, and mastery of the craft.
