• As dusk descends on 5 Oathwane, Warren and the survivors from House Nevroti—led by Captain Kaylor—are joined by two agents of the Order of the Galahad: the fierce Tosen, a half-elf werebear guardian, and the elemental sorceress Andanor. The pair reveal that the local dryads, once peaceful custodians of the Weeping Woods, have been corrupted by Twisted Magic, their madness centered near the town of Middlesborough.
• Over the next two days, the group endures repeated attacks by a vine-wielding predator revealed to be Lady Triani, the elder dryad matron and once-revered guardian of the woods. Her laughter haunts the shadows as the forest tightens around them.
• On 7 Oathwane, the group reaches Middlesborough, a town now unrecognizable—choked in vines, its citizens half-entombed and drained of blood. The town’s structures pulse with unnatural life, and the vines seem to feed the blood into the forest itself. Within a vine-sealed home, they discover Casden Nevroti, son of Baron Oswin, miraculously unharmed. He informs the group that his sister Lady Cassidy Nevroti was taken deeper into the forest’s twisted heart, and begs for her rescue.
• Following the path of blood-soaked roots to the forest’s edge, the party encounters a circle of dryads—not maddened, but mourning. They explain that Lady Triani, their beloved leader, sacrificed herself to contain an ancient artifact of Twisted Magic that had been hidden within their sanctuary. Though she spared her sisters, the artifact warped her mind and body, turning her into a vessel of blood-fueled chaos.
• With grave urgency, the dryads plead with Warren and the others to save Triani—not to kill her, but to break the artifact’s hold before the forest, the dryads, and the blood-tainted sanctuary are lost to madness forever.
• Together, Warren, Tosen, Andanor, Captain Kaylor, and the Nevroti survivors venture into the sanctuary, a once-sacred glade now overgrown with crimson foliage, where nature itself has turned into a weapon. The final confrontation with the corrupted Lady Triani looms, and with it, the fate of Middlesborough, House Nevroti, and the Weeping Woods
