Tieflings

In other worlds through the multiverse, tieflings are regarded with fear or derision for their connection to the Nine Hells. Sirasea views its cosmology and the creatures that inhabit it differently. Everything in the world exists with a purpose, gifted by the powerful forces that created it. Mortals that are influenced by evil-aligned Outer Planes, such as tieflings, are referred to in many philosophical and religious circles as shades (as in the Yiddish sheyd/sheydim). Tieflings are evidence of the light touching the world that could not be understood without shadow.

Naming a Tiefling

Tiefling children are given a virtue name at birth, and an adult name when they reach 12 years old. Their loved ones may continue to call them by their virtue names as a sign of affection, and many tiefling bards and artists continue to use their virtue names to sign their work. Little distinction exists between male names and female names.
