Shar

Shar is a divine being that existed in Sirasea's history. Her preferred aspect is female. Her epithets include The Lady of Loss, Daughter of Darkness, and The Nightsinger. Her history is somewhat obscured, partly due to time and partly to intention. Her domain is shaped by Twilight and Death, like her parents Osara and Rekses. Some say the Shadowfell was her creation to impress her parents, while others believe she created it by accident while studying with Irone. Her domain includes darkness, oblivion, and negative emotions (pain, grief, fear, guilt, etc). Though she is the child of neutral gods, Shar is decidedly evil. She was banished to the Palace of Loss, a maze-like demiplane inside the Shadowfell, at the time of the Seal, along with Loviatar. Worship of her is one of the few religious taboos in Sirasea.
