Trokwick Festival
A celebration held only when a new king is to be crowned, the Trokwick festival is typically a drunken festival of food, music, games, and myths shared over 3 days. At the end of the 3rd day, members (typically Jarls and Hersirs) are elected to compete in the Kingmaker Climb.
The Kingmaker Climb is a harsh test of survival, endurance, and wit, that grants it's participants with only a spear, bearskin cape, and the vague objective of bringing back a violet geode, only thought to exist in 1 particular cave high in the Kettlethorn mountains. Many die seeking out the geode in the constantly frozen mountain tops, but 1 has always returned and has then been named King.
