Purrhos & Aurar
Origins
There is no clear or agreed-upon origin for the twin suns of Purrhos & Aurar, as all members of Trepicas believe they have different powers, influences, and strength. While The Netherclan claims Purrhos to be the homeland of Demons and Aurar to be the homeland of demons, they rarely refer to them as little more than physical places one can visit. The Burning Winds (The Scorched) actively worship the suns as literal gods however, citing the two suns as the source of their druidic magic and dominion over all things that draw breath. Due to the little contact made with the Shalow or Skeletal Children, their beliefs are largely unknown and as such, the only information available to outsiders is often given to them right before their sacrifice or enslavement.Places of Worship
The Burning Winds cult, located in Pyregate at the southern tip of Trepicas, is the primary worshipper and most active religious sect within the "nation". As such, the massive single temple they built, a massive sandstone pillar decorated with obsidian and religious carvings, is referred to as the "Hotstone Obelisk". The structure was built pre-The Second Arrival, and used its obsidian layers to reflect sunlight onto 3 surrounding statues, massive concave discs made of a reflective metal. Followers would often climb into these discs and sweat for hours in reverence for the two suns. After arrival in Sinstram however, the Hotstone Obelisk does not function as it did before, and only one of these discs gathers significant heat during the day, much to the outrage of The Burning Winds.Followers
Worshipped functionally exclusively by Trepicas natives from the Burning Winds cult, it's followers are products of their home. Brutal survivalists with a desire to control nature itself, they draw faith and power from the only thing that was forever out of their reach. They tend to look down on others not from their clan, and while they can respect other Trepicas cults to some degree for knowing of their home plane, they tend to view Sinstram citizens as outsiders that don't have the grit or power to survive without their help. This has caused a common trait of supremacy in all it's worshippers.
