History

Formally one nation, the Golden expanse was driven apart by The Golden Divide, are sudden uprising of noble houses against their king, Geofri Dalca, The Usurped at his own throne in Sidaca. After which each noble house claimed themselves to be king, and a ongoing, constantly shifting war began.

Geography

Named for it's massive rolling hills of waist high golden grasses, the Golden Expanse is a large tract of open land featuring minimal forests of note. Besides a single mountain range, the Suncrest mountains, it is rumored standing on one hill at the southern edge of the country allows you to see to the other side.
