Near total annihilation

Sileo's largest corporations come together to help push the planet into a Type-1 existence (absolute control and full use of a planets energy). SEMA (Sileo Energy Management Association) is created as a way to hide this project from the general public, and builds a headquarters in Markesh. Events to follow are not well documented due to most documentation being destroyed, but it is known that the planet suffered a near total annihilation event. Some historical documents say 95% of Sileans disappear in an instant.   What is left of the population retreat to underground bunkers, where they will live their lives for the next 186 years.
