Planning phase of Project Sileo begins

Due to human interference, Earth is unable to support the 9 billion humans that walk the planet. As humans slowly move towards extinction due to overpopulation and underproducing, world powers and multinational corporations come together to start Project Sileo, a blind expedition in search of habitable exoplanets outside of our solar system. A fleet of 20 colony ships, carrying an estimate of 12 million people and 10 cargo ships goes into production.
