The Single Eyed Hydra Trap

Description:

This pressure plate made of a simple a hard to see wood with a mixture of hydra bone and an outer bronze frame. Allows for this pressure plate to take on even the heaviest feet without cracking. The trap is simply designed to be slightly set into the ground, and once the plate is stepped upon the bronze frame folds in. Allowing for the detonation sack beneath to explode upwards shredding everything on its way up and back down. The plate can be adjusted size wise to allow for only a single foot to step on it, allowing for half of the shards to hit the inner thigh and hips. While the outer area destroys the arm and side of the intended target. 

A simple smiley face can be seen on the inside of the bag. The words "Fear what you cannot see, for I am watching always" can be found on the inside of the sack. Though few live long enough to see it.

A CR 6 trap, that is mechanical and set on a weight trigger to which the user can set what weight each time as needed. Allowing for anything that steps on it that is heavier to fall for the trap.

 It has an automatic reset feature allowing for once the weight is off that the item will set itself again. 

 This item was not designed to have a bypass thus it has to be mechanically turned off to deactivate.  

The pressure plate is designed to immediately shoot up hydra teeth and bones on contact. Granting the trap a +8 to hit against flat footed, with a 9d10 magical piercing damage if succeeded.
