The Masked Elders
https://forgottenrealms.fandom.com/wiki/Batiri
The Masked Elders should be noted that they while older are not "old". Rather this name was given as they each posses a mask of a creature that had granted the goblinnoid power in exchange for there emotions. Each of the five masks are said to be depictions of greater fiends from the chaotic land of Mors that ruled vast amounts of territory prior to Mor's being transformed. It is believed that these five masks would represent the five houses of demons that would vanish to Abaddon after the splitting. Each of the elders mask has a long white mane that seems to cover there neck and the tops of there shoulders. Each elder from there is unique for there tribe, having features that seem similar to the creature represented in the mask.

Though each seems slightly different, the main temperament of these creatures are similar to feral chieftans. They are not without reason, though there reason is tribal in itself, deeming it easier to eat then solve there problems. Also do not for a second assume that they lack for tactics and understanding of war. Many a times a mercenary has sought out killing the elders in hopes of claiming the land for themselves. The last company of fifty five trained mercenaries were said to last less then twenty four hours within the forest. As the ambushes and magic would not allow for those who stepped in there domain with an intention to hunt them to survive. For the masked elders, it is hunt or be hunted.Classes

Goblin ears,History
Though one of the more mundane apex monsters for history, the masked elders are said to be an ancient tribe of goblins that would split before the dragons landed on drafika. Around this time, each of the five clans that would split off would rule over a large portion of drafika. It was only when the dragons arrived that the goblins would be said to make there deals with the "Shadow Whisperers". Managing to hold off the majority of the chromatic and metallic dragons that would try to land in the territory. It should be noted that each of the first masked elders were able to slay three to four ancient dragons. Some of the tribes still show the skulls of the slain dragons of this time of settling. Though this wouldn't be enough to hold off the dragons, The Masked Elders would learn the true powers of there masks that the "Shadow Whisperers" had granted them. When the five elders would meet to discuss what to do about the war, the masks were almost drawn to each other. Taking this as a sign, the five elders would trick the dragons into landing there force of over a hundred in a large valley south of the goblins last hold out. And it was hear that Gregsmartam would witness as all the dragons on that field were slaughtered in a blink of an eye. Some impaled on magic that twisted and curled, others sliced and missing there organs from a clean show of precise cuts. Gregsmaratam would offer them a deal after this to claim the land instead, and slowly as his city would grow the goblins numbers would dwindle. As if they no longer could produce the children they once had, they grew weaker and less capable as the days would go on. Though no one is quite sure what Gregsmaratam offered the creatures or what he got in return, but what is known, is that when visiting there village a fountain that seems to never go empty of water with Gregsmaratam portrayed as pouring the water from a vase into the fountain basin itself was found not long after the deal was complete. This has led many at the collective of pyrus to wonder if just the mere sight of the dragon lord is able to cause water to become poisonous.Signed
