Ogeron's Blood Storm
Description:
This Large warhammer is said to have been made by the ancient smiths of the giants long before the species split apart. Its primitive but masterful in its design, a large and yellow glowing hammer that is made from Zestite. A metal said to glimmer like lightinning and when hitting something it rumbles like thunder. The material is long believed to be lost to the storm giants craft, and thus gives this item even more of a glimmer. This one however has a strange writing across it, in primitive giant it reads "May my blood continue bringing the storms that end all.". This is believed to be the original words of clan Grunaga and seems that the red leather bound to the two handed handle tells that story. The clear wear of the hand prints on it, and the clear indication that this one black leather is now soaked in numerous creatures blood. To such an extent, that the leather now glimmers a deep crimson in color. A few bobbles hang from the side of the hammer when it is not used within combat, a skull of a small devil that resonates a 25th level casting aura, a dragons skull that looks to be a halfbreed of some sort of dragon and terrasque like creature, and lastly a glooms skull that seems oddly masculine. These three skulls as well as the little gemstone bobbles at the pommel all seem to vanish when this weapon sense hostility from its wielder.Item Effect:
This +3 Large returning warhammer deals 4d6 points of damage on any hit. Further, if the wielder is a giant or has ogre parentage and he knows that the hammer is Ogeron's Blood Storm, (not just a +3 warhammer), the weapon can be used to full effect: It gains a total +5 enhancement bonus, and strikes dead any giant upon whom it scores a hit (Fortitude DC 20 negates the death effect but not the damage). When hurled, on a successful attack the hammer emits a great noise, like a clap of thunder, causing all creatures within 90 feet to be stunned for 1 round (Fortitude DC 15 negates). The hammer’s range increment is 30 feet.
Asi Skull
This skull allows the user to wield this weapon no matter there strength or size. As the item can cast polymorph on itself within the limits of other object as its only polymorphs.Male Gloom Fox Skull
This item fully looks like a normal warhammer of the finest quality when those looking at it do not know what they view. This also grants its wielder a +10 to move silent and hide checks.Xengahra Kllozin Skull
Due to the first Kllozin skull being used within this item, it allows for its user to use the creature infamous ability. Exploding Nodules, which allow for the user upon attack or grapple, the wielder can break off the nodules from the hammers handle. And either choose to absorb them giving the effect when grappled, or throw them at there enemy during an attack with this weapon. Each nodule does 5d6 piercing damage and 5d6 force damage in a 10ft spread (DC 32 Reflect to halve the damage). This save dc is Constitutition based.
Each nodule regrows with 3d6 minutes after being broken off. And provides 1d3 per day naturally (limit 8)
Curse (If applicable):
Due to the immense hatred from this item, the wielder will naturally find themselves having to make a 50/50 roll in which the item will work at the beginning of the day. If the wielder fails, this item cannot be wielded by anyone nor removed from its host. However, it removes its carrying weight when refusing to be used.Skulls
Due to the creatures used, wielders of this item will find themselves the natural enemies of House Kllozin, the Gloom Order, and the Asi clan. As if they can sense there ancestors deaths at the hands of the Grunaga, this item cannot hide itself from those who know of its story. Thus if one of the above mentioned parties see this item on a wielder, they will immediately be driven to (by there personality and nature) plot to end the wielder. This effect does not go away even after the user removes the item from there person.Ego (Alignment) (If applicable):
This item has an intense ego that has a 25 Int, 25 Wis, 15 Cha, with an ego score of 25 Wisdom based.Ogeron's Blood Storm seems to house a truly neutral beast within. An uncaring but equally willing to kill creature that seems more cat like then anything. Its interests shifting based on the events, and never standing by a single plan for more then a week or so.
