Kllozin (Proto-Fiend)

Kllozin (Proto-Fiend)

General Info

Known as a combination of the three forms of power in the first age god hierarchy, the Kllozin gained their name from the noble house of Kllozin who would rise up to take power. The creatures seem to vary in personality and morality as much as humans do. Uniquely, it seems that the proto-fiends can be broken into three classed parties. The Celestials who seem to favor more angelic looks, magic, and wisdom, they seem to, for the most part, favor leaders like Lokiana, historically. Then The Devils led by those like Alfred of clan Stone, strong, angry, and demanding of more power and war. The final group seems to be led by figures like Magni of clan Beastmail, The Demons as we historically call them. They favored merchant types, and seemed to enjoy power through control rather then brute strength. The society as a whole was noted as one of the most unique as, historically speaking, their nation should have fallen apart from the start. But through continuous powerful kings, the clans managed to hold on until the first wars started up.

    City info

Here we shall list the specific city info if any is listed for the cities history.

    First Age

    Xengahra Tomb

The capital city and said to be practically oozing in valuable metals, gemstones, stone and other such items of great worth. With massive guilds found throughout the city, and sporting the larget population in the world, Xengahra Tomb is considered a paradise amongst the Proto fiend people. The city is said to leak fiendish mana into the air from the central castle where rumors say that the fiend Ogum "The Xengahra" Xogum is imprisoned, forced to serve the Kllozin. This fiendish mana is said to darken the skies around the city and create natural abberrations in the country sides near the city itself. Many non-flying races find themselves attacked on the roads by these creatures. The city itself is also noted as having a massive red light district due to the large amounts of succubi and incubi in the city attempting to attract nobles and wealthy merchants. Thus it is said that house Kllozin would force the lustful race into a specific district later renamed the red district and believed to be the birth place of the first lords of Cupiditas.

    City of Beast Fallen

Controlled by the Beastmail clan and a large port, Beast Fallen is noted for it's large vampiric jotun skulls said to be twice the size of the average storm jotun that adorn the walls of the cities port. Known for having the largest slave auction and rare monster auctions in the world. The city is designed to accomodate large amounts of merchants both from land and sea. Giving the city a secondary nickname of "City of Merit" as even the lowest rangers and druids could rise through the ranks. Many would marry into the local ruling family in exchange for comfortable positions of power that allowed them to compete with far fewer forces. The city is known for it's three large ranger guilds "The Kungdium Arrows" "The Stone Shafts" and "The Crying Bleeders". Each is said to rule a prominent part of the city, and each guild hall is constantly changing and upgrading from the tax they require of those storing goods within the city. Known for its large circus, the city of Beast Fallen has been considered the ranger capital of the world to train with the many exotic animals. The clan who rules the city seems to have the money to back such claims, as the city sports an impressive oventium statue in the center of it's founding member. The city is said to be made with wood and stone exotic to the lands of the proto-fiends, all in an attempt to gain power for those who ruled the city.

    Bloody Point

A city controlled by clan Stone and it's elite warriors, the city is constantly fighting gloom, lycanthropes and goyang. Bloody Point is considered the harshest lands of all the proto-fiend territories as none of the towns around the city have ever managed more then a year with the constant raids. Thus the city of Bloody Point with it's massive illusionary spell that draws raiders to it and away from Beast Fallen, is noted for having thick oventium walls. A large amount of strangely chaotic weapons that have properties similar to wild magic. The city itself is a dreary place where only the most practical and experienced warriors can survive. Said to take in all, the city's ruling clan has claimed he will train any soldier who swears fealty to him to fight like his clan does. Said to be a city of berserking warriors and barbarians, Bloody Point gained its nickname for being the gate to the great mining settlements of the east. Many centered around the Pale City and further in, Bloody Point is believed to be the only natural crossing point of the large and deep river that cuts the northern section of the continent off. The city is said to have walls that glow red when battles are fought nearby, giving many the belief that the city itself was a proto-fiend who had made a deal with the clan leader.

    The Pale City

Clan Rose's main stronghold and the last of the prominant cities within the Kllozin lands. Said to be an elven like paradise, many researchers still believe that the succubi and incubi races of proto-fiend would later evolve to be the elves we know to this day as high elves. However, the city itself had no such strange alterations, it was considered the garden of paradise. A city that sprouted hundreds of species of plants, great and vast gardens, and many artisans from across the land. Said to be the city of art, many scholars would travel amongst its streets to gain inspiration for great works to be written throughout the first age. Though surrounded by constant mining, the city itself is said to be quiet and peaceful with the constant sounds of running water and small animals scurrying about. A city where none of its citizens go hungry and all stay satisified, many believe the city had a strange curse on it with the large amount of succubi and incubi within the city. Those who would enter even as simple adventurers or traveling merchants would find themselves never leaving and settled down. Forgetting past lives and any familiar attachments they may have had. The city sported the second largest mage tower on the continent and the third largest continuous brothel on the continent.

    Technology periods

Here we shall discuss the main technological discoveries by this race.

    Oventium Smiths

One of the few races capable of handling the material, it is said that through the usage of many slaves similar to the storm jotuns of the sky, proto-fiends are capable of making oventium items. Though it is believed that the amount of slaves per item can differ heavily, the general belief is that while art without magical runes is easily crafted by the proto-fiend, each item costs thousands of slaves. The few in The Pale City capable of working with the material are said to be warriors formerly trained under Clan Stone, leading many to wonder if the clan has a natural capability with the material.

    Ki Smiths

Though called Ki Smiths, the term is actually considered a mistranslation from the proto-fiend primitive tongue to draconic at the time. The term is believed to mean "Smiths of Ordered Chaos" as this was a noted class of both monk and crafting capabilities amongst the proto-fiends that could craft powerful items by blending chaoticum and ordencium into true weapons of will. Though rare, as the metal was considered too dangerous to mine, many believe that the few smiths granted the abilities to practice with it were able to craft polymorphing weapons.

    Hierarchy

Here we shall discuss how the overall ladder of power is designed in this races territories.

    King

A term that we use in common these days to represent the territorial power of an individual who owns a quarter or more of the continent they rule on. However, in draconic this term means "Power who claims all he sees without question". Which we later would learn that historically only three rulers ever managed this amongst the dragons. Mov'asi who would create the term for the title as historically it was confirmed that he had defeated all the dragon lords on his continent. Some accounts state it was done in a single fight, but historical facts prove that before his ascension to power he managed to best the armies of both Chaivcia and Corix, and almost killed Corix after the battle. Mov'asi was believed to be so fearsome in battle that the rest of the dragons refused to stand against him in belief that they would be stronger serving him. Thus the title of King was created as Mov'asi's first decree that all of the continent was to be ruled under him.

    Knight

A warrior known for their great renown throughout the land, only twelve ever existed at one time. These twelve knights were said to be the inspiration for the Twelve Lords, these knights were personally recognized for their loyalty to the king at the time of their reign. The title of Knight was recognized across the land as a warrior of great power who had managed to defeat others in a grand spectacle worthy enough to put a target on their back. For knights could never truly leave the kings lands as they would be hunted or be the targets for raiders who sought renown. It is said that to accept this title was almost as grand as declaring war on the world without a country to defend you. However, with this great risk it was recognized that Knights would not only defend the king in times of war, but would rise to the rank and be above the law as if recognized as members of the royal family. Many knights were used through the histories to gather unruly vassals or to cut down interlopers without dirtying the royal families hands.

    Roen

In common meaning "Sage" or "User of Magic", those amongst the elite are believed to all have been high Roen. Though it was rare for a proto-fiend to have been born without magical capabilities, rarer it became for them to rise to the rank of Roen. A title given only to those who had mastered a school of magic from anywhere, the term Roen referred to any who had accomplished such a goal and could create a unique spell to add to the proto-fiend collection. This title once given is said to be awarded with a lesser robe of the magi and a staff that has a spell component of your choice that will never shatter or be used. Those who serve with the title while not recognized with any new authority, are given a class of their own and a stipend of coins every month for their continued research based on their results.

    Nobility

Here we shall discuss notable noble houses through the time periods.

    Royals throughout history

Here we shall mention royals that have a historical value of sorts.

    King Kllozin of Clan Kllozin

Known for his cunning mind and quick wit, Torgez was his birth name, though like all previous rulers of his clan, he would take on his families name in place of Torgez while his two younger brothers and older sister were allowed to keep their names. Torgez was known for his strength both in the meeting hall and on the battlefield, having been noted for managing to stand shoulder to shoulder against Alfred and his son Leon. Torgez was also noted for his magical capabilities, though outside of pact magic he seemed to have little interest in powerful spells. Capable from a young age to use up to fifth level spells, the young royal spent most of his time in the library or in the barracks starting fights with the local troops. Well known for his hatred of those who act without consideration for their position in society, Torgez has captured many old nobles who believed themselves his better without the position to back it up.

    Noteable Nobility

Here we shall discuss the current ages nobles and royals

Alfred "The Bronze Berserker" of Clan Stone

The truth behind Alfred Stone is a horrific one, a proto-fiend who was heir to his own clan and would later be ousted as he watched his family slaughtered around him. At such a young age, Alfred Stone, not yet even a man, was forced to sit and watch as his uncle took clan Garamander for himself. Left alone, the child was banished to the southern border alongside most unwanted proto-fiends. Clan Garamander would grow weaker as his uncle ruled for his love of booze and his lusts. Alfred however would find himself an unfortunate child once more, as he would trip off the side of a rather large cliffside during his travels, losing his memory of clan Garamander. The now amnesiac child was stated to have found a ravaging group of Gloom who took him in as a slave for a time. The young proto-fiend was said to eventually escape after a raid from storm giants in which the poor Alfred Stone would find himself once more captured outside the slave camp of the gloom. Once more being dragged off, though the story for what happened to the young proto-fiend ends here as no known notes of how he returned have been found. The popular belief is that when he arrived at the storm giant city he would go berserk and during a internal fight that was happening at the same time between the supposed clan leader and the king of the storm giants, Alfred would make his move. Securing a powerful sacrificial tower that was said to be sealed within the clans vault. Alfred would manage to hide away for a time, hunting storm giants and other slaves, many believe he would use the tower continously and without fear through a pocket plane. It is believed here he would use the tower gained to enhance his power, but others still stand by the fact that Alfred "The Bronze Berserker" of clan Stone had slain an assaulting dragon on the clan instead, and impressed the clans leader so much that he was given power from the sacrificial tower and allowed to go free. The truth of the matter is irrelevant, as what came next is how the young man would gain his nickname. Now a young adult, Alfred would return unannounced to Clan Garamander on the day the clan leader was to make a pact with the king, and as he entered it is believed even the sun hid away as to not see what came next. A slaughter by a single angry proto-fiend that impressed or scared the king of the proto-fiends to such an extreme, that upon the slaughter of the one thousand proto-fiends of clan Garamander, Alfred was given his nickname and a legendary armor that is said to have divine properties. Though his interest toward the king always seemed to lack, his true hatred lay with the last of his uncles kin, the leader of clan Rose, Lakiana "The Lady" of clan Rose.

Leon "The Arcane Lion" of Clan Stone

Known for his lawful good alignment, Leon is the first magic swordsman ever noted in history. Allowing him to use multiple weapons in battle that he infuses with magic temporarily which grants them horrific effects. Leading a mercenary group known as Gravis's Chosen, Leon has managed to outwit his father and the rest of the clan by gaining the kings favor in hopes of gaining a new clan for himself. Leons followers all specialize in battle magic, allowing them to become almost paladin like in their fighting style and worship of Leon. Many believe this small band of a hundred proto-fiends are capable of overthrowing the entirety of the lesser dragons nations. Though the main benefit due to Leon's influence appears to be their lawful alignment and majority favoring a good morality. Thus no member who serves in Gravis's Chosen seems willing to break their bond. Leon is described as a short pit fiend with long red hair like his father that he wears in a ponytail. He has a short cut beard that glows like fire, and seems to favor heavy armor with lion like sigils. He is known for carrying a banner of a stone lion with a cantrip spell engraved of counterspell. He is well known for his kindness towards the other races, and his hatred for his clan. As the only true born son of Aflred "The Bronze Berserker" of clan Stone, many have noted the rivalry between father and son that has on occassion even broken out to death defying violence. To say the two cannot be put in the same room as each other is considered an understatement, which has led to his current rise in power during the first age.

Magni "The Fork Tongued" of Clan Beastmail

Believed to be a bastard member of clan Stone, many have doubted Magni "The Fork Tongued" legitimacy. Though as the armor dawned the powerful short balor with bright red hair, and flaming long beard, none could question it. Magni had claimed the armor of his families founder and when the creature had chosen not to devour its host, the clan of Beastmail knew the truth. Magni was either the greatest bard in history, or he was the legitimate son of the clan. As Magni would later be noted for his slighter rounder shape, and shorter horns. It was hard to fault those who saw him as a potential bastard, especially with Alfred so prominant at this time. Magni would be noted as the first major merchant of the Beastmail clan, as he would begin to open up the clan to faraway trade for both incoming and outgoing beasts. Believing that using only the monsters from their continent was extremely limiting, he would craft creatures of all races and sizes. And as his profits would grow, he would begin to find a strange hatred of Leon "The Arcane Lion" of Clan Stone. Almost out of nowhere, the two began to fight at every gathering, noting on multiple occassions where both forces were sent to deal with gloom or wild beasts, and full conflicts where both sides suffered heavy losses would occur. Magni is still believed to be one of the few warlords amongst the clans to be vying for not only his potential fathers throne, but the nations, for as his wealth continues to grow, so to do his forces.

Knight Ogrin "The Flaming Sword" of Clan Darran

Known to be the founder of the newest clan, clan Darran is a clan said to be sworn directly to the Kllozin clan. Though Ogrin, an incubus noted for his purple eyes and raven black hair, is noted as one of the three swords of the king, many believe the truth is that he is the unofficial concubine of the king. Ogrin would gain his nickname and clan leadership when defending the king against an attack by the forces of Clan Stone. In a supposed "skirmish" the clan managed to corner what they thought were forces from clan Rose. Though in truth, no members of clan Rose were noted to be in the area, nor was clan Stone in conflict with clan Rose. Ogrin would manage to strike down thirty members of clan Stones branch family, creating a major hatred and division between the two clans. However, upon this deed Ogrin was given the right to power by the king himself who performed the ancient pact with him. This is where many believe that in truth the king made Ogrin a paladin to serve him directly, thus many of clan Darran are known for their smiting attacks, and strange swordsmanship. Ogrin himself is noted as wearing flame red metal plate armor that seems to be immune to fire and cold spells. His sword, a gift for his position, is called "Mana's End", as it seems to have been made from an ancient rust dragon. The blade itself is said to destroy magic items with ease, and when heated is said to glow a brilliant purple. Ogrin is well noted for his gorgeous appearance, but with three sons already to his name, he seems to be more focused on preserving his sword style by opening up large schools to teach new soldiers in his territory.

Lokiana "The Lady" of clan Rose

Known as the last member of clan Garamander, Lokiana claims her birth right in a strange and unique way. Many rumors at the time stated that Lokiana was a gift to Lorn "The Kin Axer" of clan Garamander, by a mysterious woman. The woman is depicted as a avian like creature who stood shorter then most and wore nothing but black cloth. Lorn was said to have saved her from a group of Gloom raiders, though many believe that he had set the poor woman up. The truth while not relevant, brings into question that Lokiana may have been "The Lady of Time" who would go on to create the elves and many celestial species. Blessed with beautiful high elven features, Lokiana is known for her bright green eyes, her hair that changes from blonde in the summer, to pale white in the winter and many other colors with the seasons. Known for her vast magical capabilities both in necromancy and time magic, it is believed that Lokiana was the first of the time mages. Though this is rightfully disputed as both Melz and Zelm had already mastered the magical art. Still, for a proto-fiend, she was far more gifted with magic, and was well known for her aggressive yet wise morality. She was also noted for her extreme hatred of Alfred "The Bronze Berserker" of clan Stone, and the two would do battle at almost any chance. Well known for holding her own while simultaniously fighting gloom and giant raiders, the two have clashed so many times on the battlefield that the other clans give them a wide birth and refuse to stand between the two.

    Noteable Royal Family

    Tergez of Clan Kllozin

Ords twin brother, it is said that the two are the same in apperance, though are opposite in their views and abilities. Tergez is a warrior who is sturdy, stubborn and strong, known for his ability to transform into a larger, more muscled version of himself. Tergez is believed to be the kings strong right arm and as such is considered the elite vanguards commander. For there is no enemy Tergez fears, between his barbarian like strength and fighter like capabilities, Tergez is known for managing to rally his troops through the worst of the fighting. Having claimed three adult dragons lives in his lifetime, he is a well respected warrior and the current devil factions vote for heir of clan Kllozin.

    Ord of Clan Kllozin

Tergezs twin brother, it is said that the two are the same in appearance, though are opposite in their views and abilities. Ord is a magic caster that many call The Sage of Elements. For he is noted for his level head, wisdom, and unique comedy, Ord is noted as one of the few mages to match the leader of Clan Rose in spell craft and ability to cast. Though his magic knowledge seems to lack, as like many proto-fiends he has yet to leave his homeland to learn the many magics of the world. Limiting his knowledge to what is available amongst the nation. Ord is also noted for being the celestial factions vote for heir of clan Kllozin, and for his interest in Lokiana.

    Azrotid of Clan Kllozin

Known as the demon factions chosen heir for clan Kllozin, Azrotid is well known for her beauty and sharp wit. Believed to be the "Blade of Many Fists" that has been building a powerful criminal underground within the cities of the Kllozin. The rumors are that Azrotid was the silent left arm of the king, who ensured the most rebellious of the common citizens were taken care of without issue. Azrotid also manages the largest merchant guild within the lands of the nation, called "The Golden Fiend" for her ability to make deals with anyone that would benefit the country. The Fiend's Coin merchant guild is a powerful general goods guild, but it is also noted historically for doubling as a spy and diplomacy network across the many continents. Azrotid was known for her love of Magni of clan Beastmail as the two were set to be wed for political reasons. The two seemed almost to be the perfect match, for where Magni lacked, she added to make stronger, the two were considered the most powerful faction of the First Age within the kingdom.

    Notable Noble houses

    Clan Stone

Known as the clan of strength, they show their sigil of a bronze hammer on a grey iron background. Their sigil, like their beliefs, are simple "Might makes Right" is the rule of the clan. Growing in popularity only recently under the single member known as Alfred of clan Stone, all those lesser clans who had fallen or sworn fealty did so only through bloodshed and death. Clan Stone is noted as the house who took any disagreement as the greatest insult, demanding the death of multiple clan members for the smallest of slights and having the ability to enforce it. Clan Stone is currently noted as having only a single member at this time.

    Clan Kllozin

Known as the pact masters of all, the clan gained its position of power by forcing a pact on all proto-fiends early on in the races creation. Kllozin "The Pact King" was the one who would first break the other clans and contenders, not by raw strength, but by tricking them into making pacts with magic. As the warlords of each of the clans would be left with nothing but forced obediance, many declared that the clan used dark magic that they had never seen before. Thus giving the clan its name and the true translation for proto-fiend "Pact Masters". For all fiends from other clans were sworn to serve, and thus clan Kllozin would continue its reign unopposed. Many believe though that the true deal was the promise of aid from both sides, as it was later noted other proto-fiends managing to rise to power who were not bound to the pacts.

    Clan Beastmail

Known for their monster breeding and taming, a clan truly terrifying only to creatures. Clan Beastmail gained its name from its founder, Rafel the Beast Burden, who managed to tame mimics and build them into a living armor. With time its believed the armor was stronger than oventium, and housed a hundred mimics within. Though mimics aren't the only creatures that the clan uses, well known for its beholderkin, gloomkin, dragon turtlekin, and many others. They seem to fascinate over how to manipulate the creatures amongst their own kind. Breeding stronger and more adaptable beasts, the clan of Beastmail offers large varieties for sale across the many continents. As their boats are pulled by sea drakes, the clan is able to travel practically anywhere within the many oceans. The last thing to note about the clan of Beastmail, is their unique breed of cerberus gnolves, known to rival young adult dragons in combat. These creatures should be bought early as its believed that once they establish an owner, even death itself wont seperate the creature from its owner.

    Clan Darran

A clan lead by a demi god of assassins named Bob Darran with his apprentice and the recognized Knight Ogrin "Flaming Sword". Many have noted that while Ogrin would be the founder of the clan, once his master had heard the news he would return to his apprentice to finish his training. Bob is said to be the deadliest assassin in proto-fiend history, with a love for research and torture, he is rumored to be especially cruel and cold hearted. Bob was once noted with having cut down five barbarians in single combat before the bystanders could recognize what had happened. Clan Darran is said to be similar with all its members, each either adopted or brought in from distant lands to be part of the family.

    Clan Rose

A clan of succubus and incubus, clan Rose is recognized in only two catagories amongst the other proto-fiend clans. Their study of magic which has led to their legendary bardic colleges spotted throughout The Pale City, and their understanding of mortal values. As the city has been known to kidnap and brain wipe those from other nations that manage to leave an impression on the clan. With all of clan Rose's members bearing either a red rose or a white rose depending on whether they can use magic or not, the city of a thousand roses is said to marry outsiders into the main clan. However due to how the clan reproduction works, only succubus and incubus can be born to the two newly weds. Though many may keep the features of their non -bus parents, many are still noted for being of the species. Each member of clan Rose is rumored to be a top bard in one college or another before they are allowed to wander, giving rise to the clans new class of rose's, the Silver Rose or Old Rose as they are being called. Those amongst the clan who are considered the elders and most powerful.

    Clan Raza

Noted as one of the lesser clans, Raza who show a raspberry on a green background, have managed to become quite noteworthy. Producing two knights from the main clan, and twelve Roen in recent years, the clan Raza has slowly been on the rize. Through their short leader known simply as Razza "The Berry" of clan Raza, noted for his similar appearance to Alfred "The Bronze Berserker" of Clan Stone in his younger years if he had a kid with a niwarves. Many believe the young clan leader to be capable enough to bring those under him to even greater heights than the king himself would like. As rumors are abound that Razza's wife is said to be the bastard daughter of the previous king, leading many to believe an internal war could be coming in the near future.

    Military

Here we will discuss any specific military information

    King Kllozin of Clan Kllozin

Noted for having an army of around 10 knights, 6,000 Roen, 10,000 professional warriors, 25,000 citizen warriors, and 6,000 slaves that can be mobilized as of the beginning of the first age.

    Wars

Here we shall discuss the notable wars for each period and who they were against.

    The Fiend Wars

An internal civil war that seems to never truly end, for the clans seem to be in constant war with each other.

    The Glooman Wars

House Kllozin Vs The Gloom Order Known to have started in the first age, the two nations would end up at war with one another almost immediately upon the discovery of the other. What gave the war its name, came in a single act by the corday Dagma "The Twin Bladed" of Clan Wrus requested that the Highborn of house Kllozin become her personal concubine. The immediate anger and hatred that would follow would see both nations in a violent on and off war for the rest of the first age. Though noted that three of house Kllozin would end up with the demanded fate, the Highborn of the house would avoid capture in those early days.

    Events/Holidays

We shall begin to discuss notable holidays and events in this culture. Explaining further on where they come from and what goes on during them.

    Triumphs

Noted as a common occurance in the proto-fiend society as any time a great battle had occurred. The king in recognition of the skill of his warriors and to keep his people happy would hold great feasts and celebrations to honor the warriors. Here it is believed that the honored would be welcomed into the city by either the king, local lord, or clan leader, they would be given full comforts of the higher fiends. And for multiple weeks in some cases depending on the deeds celebrated, the people of the town would feast, watch bloody battles in the cities arenas, and enjoy vast orgies throughout. Many soldiers are noted for going missing during these city wide celebrations, only to show up the next day without a penny or piece of clothing to their name.

    Religious beliefs

Here we shall discuss the different religious beliefs in this races history throughout the periods.

    The First Phoenix

While not a recognized god, the church of the First Phoenix was a unique school of magic who used arcane spells to revivify noteable proto-fiends. Allowing for the nobles to never truly fear death so long as they had the coin to pay for their resurrection. Though notably the church would require that each of the clans offer the most gifted arcane casters to serve. The church also kept the very few phoenix eggs and young phoenix that were still alive after the dragons attempted to purge the creatures. The church itself is well known for its political position, as many of the high arcane priests that serve the church also serve within each of the major clans. Allowing them to keep fresh samples of the leaders to instantly revivify from. Though noting that the proto-fiends dont actually die, many believe that this magic is actually the original version of either the lich syrium or the more common belief, this is the first example of a blood magic similacrum spells having been created. A spell lost in the modern age, alongside the majority of blood magics uses.

    Known diseases

Here we shall discuss known diseases to be active and/or discovered or cured during the different time periods of these races

    Fiendish Chill

Middle ranked fiends are said to spread it most often, it is said it takes three successful saves in a row to recover from the disease. As the disease begins with a strange cold chill throughout the body that never warms, as days go on, you lose a permanent health point each day you have this disease. Those most commonly found to be suffering from the disease can be easily noted for their strange feeling of being cold even when lit on fire. their lesser appendages turning black like coal and just as hard, and finally the strange white coloration of their hands to an almost bone white. Those found with all three are noted to be down to a third of their health left before they will pass on.

    Fiendish Fever

While mostly spread by hags, this disease is noted as having identical effects to the fiendish chill in reverse. With a strange heat overcoming the infected that cannot be cooled, the expanding and white coloration of the lesser appendages that seem like wet sponge, and finally they become darkened in skin coloration as their body is overcome with the heat and perish. This disease however effects ones ability score, with each day similarly draining a single point. Those found in the last stages of the disease are known to be barely above feral in understanding and logic.

    Founding

Here we shall explain when the race came to be, how it came to be, and whom it is credited to and where.   Rumored to have been founded with the defeat of Ogum Xogum at the hands of the first Kllozin a fiendish force powerful enough to have tamed a gloom dragon and force it guard his settlement. The story is said to start when Ogum Xogum managed to land on the material plane without the notice of the beyond gods at the time. A force considered to rival the high gods, Ogum would go about integrating himself with the locals at the time. It is said that as the great warlord would lay in wait for his rival Kllozin from a village down the river had managed to tame and defeat a gloom dragon in single combat. Though the two did not know it at the time, eventually they would come to blows over who had accomplished more, and it would all start with the burning of Ogum's adopted village by Kllozin's family. Believed to have started as a minor battle between two lesser tribes, the rivalry would eventually spark a conquest and unification of the entirety of the proto-fiends by Ogum who while not attached to those within the village he had settled, was quite irritated that the raiders would dare to attack himself. As he used the cry of his now dead village to help him gather a minor force, Ogum would go on to conquer each tribe in the surrounding areas one by one. As each fell and his power grew it was said that young Kllozin would attempt to warn his father about the coming attack, though ignored the young warrior would go on to build walls around the city and train the warriors. Once the two forces came to face each other it is said that in a single battle Ogum had managed to cut down all of Kllozin's kin, and as the two faced each other it was Kllozin, through use of magic and the blessings of the Phoenix, that Kllozin would manage a lucky strike against Ogum's eyes and cause a temporary blindness allowing him to seal the warlords fate with a binding spell. Though it would sap much of Kllozin's strength and give him a frail appearance, it is said the magic he gained in exchange empowered both himself and the Phoenix. Later allowing the family to unify the rest of the island under his name through the birth of his first few children. Each clan would fall and bend the knee, as Ogum lay slumbering beneath the ground.
