Slaying large reptillian creatures that are not normally sentient, this includes most dinosaur like creatures that the house specializes in. But on occasion has been known to include drakes and lesser dragonkin creatures. 

Sigil:

A skull of an apex megaraptor that seems to have hair covering the back of its spine. Around it, a circle that has jotun runes that read "For we slay what hunts in the deep dark.". All while on a blue background that is said to represent the endless depts of the deep dark the house is known for exploring. It is said that the apex megaraptor was called "Elder Eater" for its habit of hunting elder demons with its pack of nearly fifty or so raptor like creatures. 

Owner:

The current house head is Gorlen "Redbane" of House Mythril Bone. Known far and wide for his killing of a pack of brachyurus who had wandered into the territory on one of his many routine patrols. Gorlen is said to have gained the nickname Redbane for his cutting down of the near fifty crimson red furred brachyurus. Along with his small group of cousins and younger siblings who where said to be some of the brightest of the house. Gorlon managed to lead the creatures on a chase while his group hunted them down one after another for the full day. Having finally found himself cornered, his men say that Gorlen took the largest of the lot and cut it down with a single blow from his greataxe. Cleaving its head clean off and sending it flying around a hundred feet away. Now Gorlen sits as the elder man at 418 years of age, and though as strong as he was in his youth. Time is said to be catching up to the elder snow beard as much of his policy making recently has led to desperate problesm amongst many of his children.

Founder:

Drakenarga "Stormrock" of House Mythril Bone was believed to be the founder of the House though many wonder as his name was repeated multiple times after his death. Drakenarga was a noteable knight for the house of Hamescus that served them since birth. Having trained all his life, the young knight found himself quite the capable spell sword and with this found his true calling. By the age of nearly two hundred, it is said that Drakenarga left house Hamescus for a chance at an expedition that was leaving for the unexplored north.

With his training and a cheap sword the young knight found himself quite quickly failing at everything an adventurer was. Never having cooked, cleaned or really taken care of his own needs. The young knight found himself almost immediately out classed by the others that had signed on. Though young Drakenarga would not be diswayed, it is noted that he would never quite learn the tricks of the trade like all those others. Which is why Drakenarga was said to be the only one not killed by Elder Eater, the megaraptor who had learned to hunt the coming expeditions.

Finding there magic users especially tasty, the camp would throw one after another of its best hunters at the beast. Until only the squires, apprentices and city folk where left. Then as the night went on it was said that Elder Eater would continue to pick off the campsite one by one, allowing the screams of its victims to pierce the silent night before devouring them. When finally, none but the great Drakenarga was left, Elder Eater had been slowed down by the immense meal and found itself quickly out worked by the young dwarf. Though not glorius by any means, Drakenarga would fight the creature day and night until finally exhausting it to death, never once having managed to pierce the creatures scales.

As the young knight returned he was celebrated and recognized not for what he had accomplished for he tried to avoid telling that tale. But rather for his saving of the young lord of House Scrolocn that at the time was married to a Venkasz princess. Saving him from his untimely demise during a dangerous thunderstorm that struck the mountain they stood upon. Gaining him his name and later a title for his own house.

Clan Big Bone

Gorm "Small Mountain" of clan Big Bone though currently on his death bed as the many snow beard houses have pointed out. Some believe that this may be the time that House Mythril Bone reclaims the clan and instead hands out the lands to Gorlen's twelve sons. 

Clan Rex Slayer

Lead by the glorious Vakkul "Snowaxe" of clan Rex Slayer. The clan sports a tyrannosaurus rex as its main banner, with many of its members going into battle with primitive items from the same creature. Clan Rex Slayer and Vakkul himself have managed to take over a small hill that holds a secondary entrance into the deep dark. It is said the clan uses this entrance as a coming of age ritual with many of the wild youngsters seeing how far they will go within. 

Lesser Clan Bayonx Hammer

Currently led by the bastard Darys "Mythrilmaul" of Lesser Clan Bayonx Hammer. Having managed to gain there name only recently, lesser clan Bayonx Hammer is said to be hungry with ambition. There leader is well known for using his mythril maul that he got from cutting off the tail of an old Brontosaurus. Darys is said to be a quite intelligent young snow beard with a heart of gold and a strong sense of honor about him.

Barys "Dimcoat" of House Mythril Bone

Known for his leather armor made from the ankylosaurus "Long Plate" a lesser apex monster of the snow beard lands. Barys gained his nickname when not only having slain the strong dinosaur, but also its sea jotun that rode it. A capable sorceror who prefers to fight with his body enchanted over the common distance spell flingers of the waroen. Barys finds himself the expected heir to clan Big Bone after having married the sister of Gorm "Small Mountain". Though some expect the three hundred year old to decide instead to enjoy the quite retirement of a warrior within his house.

Iguan Hold

Said to be a large bread basket mountain valley, Iguan Hold is said to be one of the few places in the snow beard lands to be able to enter the underdark. While being one of the widest mountains in the snow beard lands, Iguan Hold is uniquely set up. With a central dip in the mountain where a large peak normally would spray out, stands a sulfur rich valley. Said to be home of most of the top brewers in the snow beard lands. The valley of fruit as many call it is surrounded by a large boney fortress that house Mythril Bone controls. Housing nearly twenty thousand non clan members within the valley, the stronghold itself is said to be filled with nearly eight thousand members of the Mythril Bone house.

Unique and Common Services:

While the house specializes in hunting dinosaur like creatures, it is said they also do a good bit of underdark or as many commoners call it "deep dark" exploration. With this, the family is well known to have many primitive goods for sale and ingrediants from beasts they have hunted. All while the younger members of the family act as guides for hunts and tend to leave the homeland to become mercenaries for hire outside of the snow beard lands. Even managing to garner a large amount of interest in there family through the multiple connections they have established with these mercenary groups.

Annual Income:

Though normally around half a million ruby volcanos annually, it is believed in recent years the house has seen a large economic drop off. With them owing immense debts to both large rat and grey rat clans equally. Thus many believe that all the house earns go straight to interest payments to avoid toppling over. Though this in itself has caused more issues within the clan and lesser clans who wish to see the debters put in there place.
