House Kllozin

Cities

Here we will show the maps of the kingdoms, duchies and lands throughout each of the ages.

Xengahra Tomb

The capital city and said to be practically oozing in valuable metals, gemstones, stone and other such items of great worth. With massive guilds found throughout the city, and sporting the larget population in the world, Xengahra Tomb is considered a paradise amongst the Proto fiend people. The city is said to leak fiendish mana into the air from the central castle where rumors say that the fiend Ogum "The Xengahra" Xogum is imprisoned, forced to serve the Kllozin. This fiendish mana is said to darken the skies around the city and create natural abberrations in the country sides near the city itself. Many non-flying races find themselves attacked on the roads by these creatures. The city itself is also noted as having a massive red light district due to the large amounts of succubi and incubi in the city attempting to attract nobles and wealthy merchants. Thus it is said that house Kllozin would force the lustful race into a specific district later renamed the red district and believed to be the birth place of the first lords of Cupiditas.

City of Beast Fallen

Controlled by the Beastmail clan and a large port, Beast Fallen is noted for it's large vampiric jotun skulls said to be twice the size of the average storm jotun that adorn the walls of the cities port. Known for having the largest slave auction and rare monster auctions in the world. The city is designed to accomodate large amounts of merchants both from land and sea. Giving the city a secondary nickname of "City of Merit" as even the lowest rangers and druids could rise through the ranks. Many would marry into the local ruling family in exchange for comfortable positions of power that allowed them to compete with far fewer forces. The city is known for it's three large ranger guilds "The Kungdium Arrows" "The Stone Shafts" and "The Crying Bleeders". Each is said to rule a prominent part of the city, and each guild hall is constantly changing and upgrading from the tax they require of those storing goods within the city. Known for its large circus, the city of Beast Fallen has been considered the ranger capital of the world to train with the many exotic animals. The clan who rules the city seems to have the money to back such claims, as the city sports an impressive oventium statue in the center of it's founding member. The city is said to be made with wood and stone exotic to the lands of the proto-fiends, all in an attempt to gain power for those who ruled the city.

Bloody Point

A city controlled by clan Stone and it's elite warriors, the city is constantly fighting gloom, lycanthropes and goyang. Bloody Point is considered the harshest lands of all the proto-fiend territories as none of the towns around the city have ever managed more then a year with the constant raids. Thus the city of Bloody Point with it's massive illusionary spell that draws raiders to it and away from Beast Fallen, is noted for having thick oventium walls. A large amount of strangely chaotic weapons that have properties similar to wild magic. The city itself is a dreary place where only the most practical and experienced warriors can survive. Said to take in all, the city's ruling clan has claimed he will train any soldier who swears fealty to him to fight like his clan does. Said to be a city of berserking warriors and barbarians, Bloody Point gained its nickname for being the gate to the great mining settlements of the east. Many centered around the Pale City and further in, Bloody Point is believed to be the only natural crossing point of the large and deep river that cuts the northern section of the continent off. The city is said to have walls that glow red when battles are fought nearby, giving many the belief that the city itself was a proto-fiend who had made a deal with the clan leader.

The Pale City

Clan Rose's main stronghold and the last of the prominant cities within the Kllozin lands. Said to be an elven like paradise, many researchers still believe that the succubi and incubi races of proto-fiend would later evolve to be the elves we know to this day as high elves. However, the city itself had no such strange alterations, it was considered the garden of paradise. A city that sprouted hundreds of species of plants, great and vast gardens, and many artisans from across the land. Said to be the city of art, many scholars would travel amongst its streets to gain inspiration for great works to be written throughout the first age. Though surrounded by constant mining, the city itself is said to be quiet and peaceful with the constant sounds of running water and small animals scurrying about. A city where none of its citizens go hungry and all stay satisified, many believe the city had a strange curse on it with the large amount of succubi and incubi within the city. Those who would enter even as simple adventurers or traveling merchants would find themselves never leaving and settled down. Forgetting past lives and any familiar attachments they may have had. The city sported the second largest mage tower on the continent and the third largest continuous brothel on the continent.

Nobility

Here we shall discuss notable noble houses through the time periods.

King Kllozin of Clan Kllozin

Known for his cunning mind and quick wit, Torgez was his birth name, though like all previous rulers of his clan, he would take on his families name in place of Torgez while his two younger brothers and older sister were allowed to keep their names. Torgez was known for his strength both in the meeting hall and on the battlefield, having been noted for managing to stand shoulder to shoulder against Alfred and his son Leon. Torgez was also noted for his magical capabilities, though outside of pact magic he seemed to have little interest in powerful spells. Capable from a young age to use up to fifth level spells, the young royal spent most of his time in the library or in the barracks starting fights with the local troops. Well known for his hatred of those who act without consideration for their position in society, Torgez has captured many old nobles who believed themselves his better without the position to back it up.

Alfred "The Bronze Berserker" of Clan Stone

The truth behind Alfred Stone is a horrific one, a proto-fiend who was heir to his own clan and would later be ousted as he watched his family slaughtered around him. At such a young age, Alfred Stone, not yet even a man, was forced to sit and watch as his uncle took clan Garamander for himself. Left alone, the child was banished to the southern border alongside most unwanted proto-fiends. Clan Garamander would grow weaker as his uncle ruled for his love of booze and his lusts. Alfred however would find himself an unfortunate child once more, as he would trip off the side of a rather large cliffside during his travels, losing his memory of clan Garamander. The now amnesiac child was stated to have found a ravaging group of Gloom who took him in as a slave for a time. The young proto-fiend was said to eventually escape after a raid from storm giants in which the poor Alfred Stone would find himself once more captured outside the slave camp of the gloom. Once more being dragged off, though the story for what happened to the young proto-fiend ends here as no known notes of how he returned have been found. The popular belief is that when he arrived at the storm giant city he would go berserk and during a internal fight that was happening at the same time between the supposed clan leader and the king of the storm giants, Alfred would make his move. Securing a powerful sacrificial tower that was said to be sealed within the clans vault. Alfred would manage to hide away for a time, hunting storm giants and other slaves, many believe he would use the tower continously and without fear through a pocket plane. It is believed here he would use the tower gained to enhance his power, but others still stand by the fact that Alfred "The Bronze Berserker" of clan Stone had slain an assaulting dragon on the clan instead, and impressed the clans leader so much that he was given power from the sacrificial tower and allowed to go free. The truth of the matter is irrelevant, as what came next is how the young man would gain his nickname. Now a young adult, Alfred would return unannounced to Clan Garamander on the day the clan leader was to make a pact with the king, and as he entered it is believed even the sun hid away as to not see what came next. A slaughter by a single angry proto-fiend that impressed or scared the king of the proto-fiends to such an extreme, that upon the slaughter of the one thousand proto-fiends of clan Garamander, Alfred was given his nickname and a legendary armor that is said to have divine properties. Though his interest toward the king always seemed to lack, his true hatred lay with the last of his uncles kin, the leader of clan Rose, Lakiana "The Lady" of clan Rose.

Leon "The Arcane Lion" of Clan Stone

Known for his lawful good alignment, Leon is the first magic swordsman ever noted in history. Allowing him to use multiple weapons in battle that he infuses with magic temporarily which grants them horrific effects. Leading a mercenary group known as Gravis's Chosen, Leon has managed to outwit his father and the rest of the clan by gaining the kings favor in hopes of gaining a new clan for himself. Leons followers all specialize in battle magic, allowing them to become almost paladin like in their fighting style and worship of Leon. Many believe this small band of a hundred proto-fiends are capable of overthrowing the entirety of the lesser dragons nations. Though the main benefit due to Leon's influence appears to be their lawful alignment and majority favoring a good morality. Thus no member who serves in Gravis's Chosen seems willing to break their bond. Leon is described as a short pit fiend with long red hair like his father that he wears in a ponytail. He has a short cut beard that glows like fire, and seems to favor heavy armor with lion like sigils. He is known for carrying a banner of a stone lion with a cantrip spell engraved of counterspell. He is well known for his kindness towards the other races, and his hatred for his clan. As the only true born son of Aflred "The Bronze Berserker" of clan Stone, many have noted the rivalry between father and son that has on occassion even broken out to death defying violence. To say the two cannot be put in the same room as each other is considered an understatement, which has led to his current rise in power during the first age.

Magni "The Fork Tongued" of Clan Beastmail

Believed to be a bastard member of clan Stone, many have doubted Magni "The Fork Tongued" legitimacy. Though as the armor dawned the powerful short balor with bright red hair, and flaming long beard, none could question it. Magni had claimed the armor of his families founder and when the creature had chosen not to devour its host, the clan of Beastmail knew the truth. Magni was either the greatest bard in history, or he was the legitimate son of the clan. As Magni would later be noted for his slighter rounder shape, and shorter horns. It was hard to fault those who saw him as a potential bastard, especially with Alfred so prominant at this time. Magni would be noted as the first major merchant of the Beastmail clan, as he would begin to open up the clan to faraway trade for both incoming and outgoing beasts. Believing that using only the monsters from their continent was extremely limiting, he would craft creatures of all races and sizes. And as his profits would grow, he would begin to find a strange hatred of Leon "The Arcane Lion" of Clan Stone. Almost out of nowhere, the two began to fight at every gathering, noting on multiple occassions where both forces were sent to deal with gloom or wild beasts, and full conflicts where both sides suffered heavy losses would occur. Magni is still believed to be one of the few warlords amongst the clans to be vying for not only his potential fathers throne, but the nations, for as his wealth continues to grow, so to do his forces.

Knight Ogrin "The Flaming Sword" of Clan Darran

Known to be the founder of the newest clan, clan Darran is a clan said to be sworn directly to the Kllozin clan. Though Ogrin, an incubus noted for his purple eyes and raven black hair, is noted as one of the three swords of the king, many believe the truth is that he is the unofficial concubine of the king. Ogrin would gain his nickname and clan leadership when defending the king against an attack by the forces of Clan Stone. In a supposed "skirmish" the clan managed to corner what they thought were forces from clan Rose. Though in truth, no members of clan Rose were noted to be in the area, nor was clan Stone in conflict with clan Rose. Ogrin would manage to strike down thirty members of clan Stones branch family, creating a major hatred and division between the two clans. However, upon this deed Ogrin was given the right to power by the king himself who performed the ancient pact with him. This is where many believe that in truth the king made Ogrin a paladin to serve him directly, thus many of clan Darran are known for their smiting attacks, and strange swordsmanship. Ogrin himself is noted as wearing flame red metal plate armor that seems to be immune to fire and cold spells. His sword, a gift for his position, is called "Mana's End", as it seems to have been made from an ancient rust dragon. The blade itself is said to destroy magic items with ease, and when heated is said to glow a brilliant purple. Ogrin is well noted for his gorgeous appearance, but with three sons already to his name, he seems to be more focused on preserving his sword style by opening up large schools to teach new soldiers in his territory.

Lokiana "The Lady" of clan Rose

Known as the last member of clan Garamander, Lokiana claims her birth right in a strange and unique way. Many rumors at the time stated that Lokiana was a gift to Lorn "The Kin Axer" of clan Garamander, by a mysterious woman. The woman is depicted as a avian like creature who stood shorter then most and wore nothing but black cloth. Lorn was said to have saved her from a group of Gloom raiders, though many believe that he had set the poor woman up. The truth while not relevant, brings into question that Lokiana may have been "The Lady of Time" who would go on to create the elves and many celestial species. Blessed with beautiful high elven features, Lokiana is known for her bright green eyes, her hair that changes from blonde in the summer, to pale white in the winter and many other colors with the seasons. Known for her vast magical capabilities both in necromancy and time magic, it is believed that Lokiana was the first of the time mages. Though this is rightfully disputed as both Melz and Zelm had already mastered the magical art. Still, for a proto-fiend, she was far more gifted with magic, and was well known for her aggressive yet wise morality. She was also noted for her extreme hatred of Alfred "The Bronze Berserker" of clan Stone, and the two would do battle at almost any chance. Well known for holding her own while simultaniously fighting gloom and giant raiders, the two have clashed so many times on the battlefield that the other clans give them a wide birth and refuse to stand between the two.

Current and Past Wars

Here we shall discuss the notable wars for each period and who they were against.

Religious beliefs

Here we shall discuss the different religious beliefs in this kingdoms history throughout the periods.

The First Phoenix

While not a recognized god, the church of the First Phoenix was a unique school of magic who used arcane spells to revivify noteable proto-fiends. Allowing for the nobles to never truly fear death so long as they had the coin to pay for their resurrection. Though notably the church would require that each of the clans offer the most gifted arcane casters to serve. The church also kept the very few phoenix eggs and young phoenix that were still alive after the dragons attempted to purge the creatures. The church itself is well known for its political position, as many of the high arcane priests that serve the church also serve within each of the major clans. Allowing them to keep fresh samples of the leaders to instantly revivify from. Though noting that the proto-fiends dont actually die, many believe that this magic is actually the original version of either the lich syrium or the more common belief, this is the first example of a blood magic similacrum spells having been created. A spell lost in the modern age, alongside the majority of blood magics uses.

Events/Holidays

We shall begin to discuss notable holidays and events in this kingdom. Explaining further on where they come from and what goes on during them.

Triumphs

Noted as a common occurance in the proto-fiend society as any time a great battle had occurred. The king in recognition of the skill of his warriors and to keep his people happy would hold great feasts and celebrations to honor the warriors. Here it is believed that the honored would be welcomed into the city by either the king, local lord, or clan leader, they would be given full comforts of the higher fiends. And for multiple weeks in some cases depending on the deeds celebrated, the people of the town would feast, watch bloody battles in the cities arenas, and enjoy vast orgies throughout. Many soldiers are noted for going missing during these city wide celebrations, only to show up the next day without a penny or piece of clothing to their name.

Coins

Here we shall find how the coins look, what materials they are made of, and what the value of the coins are on the overall market.   DIAMOND CROWNS The first coin that replaced the common platinum that the dragons used for its shininess. Giants though, are not dragons, thus the more common material of liquid diamonds would be harvested from the cores of the volcanoes in the heart of the magma as it was believed. This material would be farmed to make coins and other magical items.   RUBY VOLCANOS Believed to be equivalent to the gold piece commonly used by the lesser nations including dragons. Thus the Jotun-Modr pioneered the coin in the shape of their homeland to be used by those sworn to them. These simple coins are individually 5cm by 5cm like the other coins, however it is clear and seems to sparkle from its craftsmanship only possible by the Jotun-Modr who individually made each coin.   SAPPHIRE HILLS Sapphire hills were thinner coins due to there higher rarity, though most giants valued sapphires less then rubies and only slightly more then emeralds. Thus most recognized this simple hill drawn with sheep grazing into the individual sapphires as a silver coin.   EMERALD PLAINS Lastly and most common in the Jotun-Modr volcanos were emeralds. As the material was farmed simply from their individual Rok-heap herds. Thus simple grass would be carved into the coins as apprentices practiced there arts on the coins.
