Headband of Redemption
Description:
While older and from a time before modern metalurgy. This ornate helm appears as a round circlet with two bands coming down the sides that would be in front of the wearer’s ears. Inside the band, the words "Byrthis Startale stands behind" can be seen on the back band. The front inside band reads "Redemption is the Only Path"
Item effect:
This headband allows all who see the user to percieve them as they expected. In example, if the wearer is believed to be a bear but is a man, all who look upon him thinking that he is a bear will see a bear. This effect is only saved if interacted with (Will save DC equal to CL +35).
The downside of this item is the curse that it comes with naturally to all those who have yet to earn there redemption.
Curse Monologue: Curse,
The user takes a -2 penalty to Armor Class.
While raging, the user cannot use any Charisma-, Dexterity-, or Intelligence-based skills (except for Balance, Escape Artist, Intimidate, and Ride), the Concentration skill, or any abilities that require patience or concentration, nor can he cast spells or activate magic items that require a command word, a spell trigger (such as a wand), or spell completion (such as a scroll) to function. He can use any feat he has except Combat Expertise, item creation feats, and metamagic feats. A fit of rage lasts for a number of rounds equal to 1d6 + Con modifier
At the end of the rage, the rage modifiers and restrictions and becomes fatigued (-2 penalty to Strength, -2 penalty to Dexterity, can’t charge or run) for the duration of the current encounter

+4 to attack while in this state
Begin reading monologue (one sentence per turn)
Roar ability now gains secondary sleep effect, requiring those within earshot of 60ft in diameter or based on current roar effect. Must make two fortitude saving throws versus the individual who roared's intimidation effect. The first is to fall asleep instantly for 1d4 minutes, the second is for the intimidated effect. The user of this can designate 5 targets that will be unaffected
This item's curse can be broken. But is believed to only be done through redemption.
