Frozen Nature

Description:

Though at first glance this armor looks to be plain blue ice made into a solid dragon scale chain mail. When looked upon closely the details begin to highlight. With blue ice scales interwoven with small pieces of greatwood that seem to keep the armor held together at its most restricting. Allowing for greater flexibility as the wood moves with its wearer. Small lesmium flower can be found blooming in the joints of the item, allowing for further maneuverability. As well as acting as a semi warning system for those trying to activate magic near the wearer as they seemingly give off a faint blue glow. The underwear of the blue chain is made up of a fluffier and more water resistant smilodon fur that seems to hide the leather from sight that the chain sits upon. Though upon removal from the wearer, one can see the cobalt blue leather of dragon scale beneath it. Giving the armor an even higher presitge though only a young dragon, few have managed to find or defeat such a pristine subject.

Item Effect:

This chain mail of blue ice acts as if a +3 armor enhancement bonus was granted to the wearer. Though the armor is still considered Light by catagory due to the material used.

This item allows the user to cast Deathward and Mirror Image on themself once per day each as a swift or immediate action. This item recharges at midnight when the moon is at its highest and the world is at its coldest.

Due to the cobalt dragon leather used in this item, it grants Cold Resistance 20 and Cold Immunity for Dragons Breath attacks specifically. As well as grants the user a Fear Aura of DC 15 whenever the scale is shown. Lastly due to the creatures natural light footedness, the user gains a +5 to all move silently checks.


Due to the smilodon leather used, this armor seems to be well balanced granting its user a +2 to all balance checks when wearing it

Lastly due to the greatwood and lesmium flowers used within it. This armor acts as if a Warning item for up to 45ft if magic is being cast at it. Giving a faint glow prior to the spell being cast. This effect also makes it so the wearer is immune to surprise if the attacker is using either a spell like ability or spell.
