Cloak of the Brown Eyed Troll

A cloak made of leather like armor that allows a wizard to wear it over themselves. The cloak is made from morph troll leather that gives a greyish brown colored when tanned, the many spider eyes that are infused into the item seem to follow those who look to long at the cloak. However, the smell of the cloak and the brown colored sclera of the eyes does make for a rather disgusting item to most. Many wonder if the creator of this item was making a joke of wizards around the world for there lack of hygene and lack of muscle to wear armor.
This item is worth 5,000gp, weighs 2lbs.  This item grants a +3 competence bonus on search and spot checks. You cannot be flanked, even when flat footed. However when confronted by a creature with a gaze attack the user cannot avert there eyes. The leather gives a +3 to AC with a max dex bonus of 6, as well as poison resistance bonus of +1 against spider poison.
