A eight headed hydra that is painted with three of its heads red, three blue, one white, and lastly a grey head. All on a purple background with icy blue waves at the bottom and fire spewing from the hydras many mouths. It is said that the original eight heads represent the eight clans that would branch from the house Hamescus that Lernean descends from. However, each seems to be a different type of hydra when inspected closely. With three pyro hydra heads of differing ages, three cryo hydras of differing age, an lernean hydra and finally a normal ancient hydra. Each represents the different hydras killed by the family to gain there clan position under the previous house.

Owner:

Typhon "Longbuckle" of Clan Lernean is the current owner, finding himself only a hundred and twenty two years of age. He is believed to be the current youngest leader of one of the major factions within the snowbeard courts. With his nickname coming from his ability to either sway his adversaries or to find them strung up by there belts within there quarters the next day. Typhon is said to be a normal snowbeard with a shaved head, no beard and extremely thick with muscle. With his clans known obsession with one goal there entire life, many believe Typhon to have aspirations to see a great snow beard empire across crakec. And few nobles doubt he won't manage it if left unchecked.

Founder:

Zeldra "Stone Bender" of house Hamescus was said to be the first founder of the clan Lernean bloodline. Though known as "Stone Bender", Zeldra was known to have no magical talent whatsoever. As this would become a common trait for all members of the clan, those born with magic afterwards where always forsaken and exiled. However, Zeldra found herself the eldest daughter of house Hamescus and with plans to be married off to another noble. Hating the idea of her husband being chosen for her, it is believed that Zeldra stormed off and hid with a patrol heading into the deep dark. That unfortunate patrol of nearly fifty knights and ten waroen found themselves face to face with Clegeros "The Twenty Headed". A known apex monster of the time that was said to be haunting the lands of the Asi clan back when they stood only Dragonlords. With the creature having managed to seal there path through its frost and flame breath, it would begin vicously attacking with its other heads. Devouring or tossing the corpses to its young that it had been protecting. Zeldra who had been at the back of the line was said to have charged forward, stealing a few explosive scrolls of magic and placing them all throughout the cavern. While the knights fell, the waroen magic failed them and only Zeldra found herself standing by the time her trap was set. With a quick flash, it is said that the nest of nearly a hundred young hydra and Clegeros "The Twenty Headed" went up in smoke. The stone bending and caving in, crushing all that was in its way. Zeldra would spend the next few months excavating and turning the pieces of the dead beast into a weapon and armor set they could be proud of.

Lesser Clan Seadra

Barna "Ice branch" of lesser clan Seadra is said to be the most notable member and current leader of the lesser clan. Barna is said to be a bastard born from the previous head of the lesser clan and a feral goliath like creature. Causing her to unfortunately end up sterile with few willing to marry or even look upon her as a woman. However, Barna finds herself as one of the highest ranked waroen in the country. With her magic exceeding well beyond any world leaders that is currently known and with her icy personality few have managed to sway her from her actual goal. A goal to see the snow beards conquering and riding dragons. 

Lesser Clan Gulguth Slayer

Originally founded as the second son of the clan Lerneans founder, now the lesser clan finds itself led by Eimrielda "Magma Spine" of lesser clan Gulguth Slayer. The clan has been known to specialize in the oddities of the hydra creatures, with there only focus on defeating the nasty Gulguthydrasa of the world. A creature said to be able to eat dung and then breath fire from it, creating a toxic flame to dangerous for most adventurers. These creatures finding themselves a plague as they are, where only naturally to find an enemy who would swear to there destruction. With Eimreilda "Magma Spine" leading the lesser clan on three successful expeditions into the undrerdark with the use of her intense fire magic. The lesser clan has grown both numerous and quite influential under her rule. Many wonder if one of the many spires of Clegeros's Folly will turn against the others.

Lesser Clan Strong Hydra

Founded by Durgan "Beastfall" of Clegeros's Folly a bastard of the clan Lernean and elder cousin to Typhon "Longbuckle" of Clan Lernean. The lesser clan found itself rising to prominance as Durgan managed to slay a huge twelve headed hydra underneath Strongport. After slaying the creature with his adventuring party, the house head of Hamescus offered his daughter to the young lad and land of his own. Creating the lesser clan Strong Hydra and granting legitimacy to Durgan "Beastfall".

Torrgul "Twilightflayer" of clan Lernean

Is the elder uncle to Typhon "Longbuckle" of Clan Lernean and until recently expected heir to the clan. Only after getting caught murdering his brother in cold blood did Torrgul "Twilightflayer" find himself exiled and only recently back in the country. Being three hundred and fourty four, it is believed that Torrgul "Twilightflayer" who has spent the last fifty years fighting for the many fey courts. Plans to usurp his nephews throne and put his second born son Torrgul "Harfagri's Shield" as his rightful heir. With many siding with the elder snow beard betapah waroen, few expect Typhon "Longbuckle" to be long for this world.

Clegeros's Folly

Known to be the location south of house Hamescus's main seat of power in Strongport. Clegeros Folly stands a stone citadel surrounding the deep breeding grounds of the ancient hydras. With the central pit that is said to be barred off with no entrace but for those part of the clan. There lays a large nesting ground for hydra that seek a peaceful place to rest. Here the young and old hydra alike are lured in and those deemed to dangerous would be brought aside with force as needed. Those hydra would then find themselves processed and the materials brought up to the citadel for the many thousands of craftsman to work on.

Annual Income:

With the current expectation of nearly twenty percent of there earnings going to House Hamescus, clan Lernean only operates on a budget of near one hundred thousand ruby volcanos annually. But with much of the clans food and needs taken care of through there hunting of hydras, it is rare for the clan to find wanting.
