Ciranor's Bonk

Description:

Said to have once belonged to Ciranor "The Anvil", this quarter staff is made from the same tree that grows back in Anvil's End. This staff is said to be made from a tree that is well over ten thousand years old and has weathered the great desert around Anvils End for the entirety of its lifetime. The staff itself though seems simple, has rings along the top that allow for curios to be added by the wielder. The staff though has a long carved group of runes in it that seem to say "Wisdom is far greater then any Strength". In which they glow as this staff activates its magical ability. The rest of the staff seems to be a blank canvas, ready for its wielder to add there own art as they wield it.
Later additions would include a large Arcticmane tooth that a previous wielder had found. Lodged into the bottom of the staff, the tooth gives off a faint coldness to it. Alongside the head of the staff where a few bones are shown to be covered in small petals from a mantrap.A strange snake seems to be carved upon the item that seems to have its head lead into the owl below its wings, though no magical effect to it. Below the users handle, seems to be an owl carved in with its outspread wings as if warding off a predator or attracting a mate. The owls wings seem to have a hypnotic function to draw your eyes to the center where two large cornia of an elder viper are preserved and placed within. Giving them a sickly amber like color that makes the eys move as the staff shifts. Runes carved into the owls wings and along the snake body using soot and water to make them glow.

Item Effect:

The user can activate the staff by sacrificing a spell slot of 1st level or higher. In return for 10 minutes per caster level the user may use their wisdom modifier in place of their strength for both attack and damage with the weapon.

Additionally,
the staff holds slots for adornments that hold potential for future embellishments but must be personally crafted by the wielder or be an item of intense personal significance to have any effect.

With a large arcticmane tooth
put at the bottom this item now acts as both Bludgeoning and Piercing, though they cannot be used at the same time. When piercing with the tooth at the bottom of the item, it deals 1d6 piercing or slashing damage + 1d8 cold damage.

With the addition of small petals from the plant of a Mantrap,
This item is now considered poisonous. When Bludgeoned, the attacked must make a Reflex Save DC 18, if succeeded they take half of 1d6 acid damage. If failed, they take full and must make a Reflex Save DC 18 at the start of there turn or continue to take 1d6 Acid damage for up to 1d4 Rounds.

With the addition of two elder viper eyes
This item grants the user one cast per day of Owls Wisdom at there Divine caster level. However, the eyes seem to have been vindictively harvested and thus this has caused a curse.

Curse (If applicable):

Each adornment applies a related physical deformity based on the subject of the adornment. In exchange the adornment also imparts some of the physical or magical nature of the subject of the adornment as well. For example, if one carved a boar within the staff, the user may grow tusks or tufts of hair like a boar. But in exchange would gain the boars Ferocity, allowing them to fight on even while disabled or dying.
With the additions of the Arcticmane tooth and the Mantrap petals. This item has cursed the wearer with icy blue fur replacing all there hair. But granting a Cold resistance 2 in exchange. And from the mantrap petals comes a +1 to diplomacy rolls as you always sweat out a sweet scent.

Viper Eye Curse
Due to the item being harvested seemingly through a means not accepted by the patron of the wielder of this item. The user has been granted a natural fear aura that effect all who come around him. For now it stands as DC 5 to succeed, but with time it seems the user may grow stronger.
