Calthun

General

Calthun the Destroyer or as we will refer to in the first part as Calthun the Silent was the first child of Alenta. Given the southern half of the world to rule over as his domain he would go on to create a race of giants and scaled beasts. You know them today as Goliaths and Dragons. Both would inherit the territories that he ruled over and while one practiced singular power over vast amounts of territory the other would gather in herds and travel the mighty fields and lands exploring and combatting one another for sport. Calthun gained his title of The Silent after he decided to silence the great Goliath beasts for fear that with both brawn and magic they would become too powerful. This would lead to very few Goliaths ever gaining the power of magic itself and even then, it was limited. Calthun would be a great and merciful god who taught his children the worth of both kindness and death. Learning to embrace and accept death and prideful and strong, and to be kind to those that stood by each other and protect those who stood behind them. His greatest creation was the queen of the dragons, known as Saphira, Tanarukks future wife. And the mother of the great Snow Elves Diony the Daughter of Death and Mumras the White Terror. Only once the Age of Chaos began would he gain the nickname Destroyer, given to him by the High King as a form to dissuade mortals from serving him. And later be banished from the world to a void that he had created. Where he festers in anger and destruction. Tentacled and corrupted.
