With roughly a single rations worth of breadfruit going for around one sapphire hill, while a whole pound can go for nearly three sapphire hills at the market.

Harvesting DC's

An experienced farmer can usually get this fruit cut down within seconds with a difficulty of 10. However, those few adventurers who find themselves attempting to climb the tree without prior knowledge will find it a bit more difficult at a 15. 

Shelf life per part

The breadfruit itself is said to last if in a kitchen for nearly three months without spoiling. Even when spoiling, it takes another six months to be inedible and ground down into a sticky sugar paste. While spoiled though it is said the breadfruit begins to darken and take on the taste of banana, raisen or pumpkin bread depending on the area the fruit is from.

Common Uses

Almost exclusively used as a ration on the go, the wood from the tree is no more then common wood. And the fruit itself holds no magical properties. But it tastes quite sweet, and is noted to be filling when eaten.

Description

Breadfruit is a species of flowering tree, the fruits are large and when ripe turn brown like bread. When opened they smell like fresh cooked bread, the inside fruit is edible and while it is stringy, tastes exactly like fresh bread. When the fruit begins to spoil, the outside will typically begin to change colors to a dark orangish, brownish or blackish. When it does, this will let you know what kind of breadfruit you have as the flavor only varies upon spoiling. With the same order, the first allows for a pumpkin bread like taste, the second a banana bread flavor, and the last a raisen bread that actually grows small candied grape like clusters within it.
