The brain is said to go for nearly ten million diamond crowns due to its difficulty in harvesting and the ability effects being housed within.
Shell
The shell is said to act as a tough material that makes for fantastic natural armor. Thus it can go for nearly four to five million diamond crowns due to its rarity and difficutly to obtain.
Stinger Tongue
Not often seen sold on the market, thus no established price has been set.
Living
For a single living adult, you can expect around a thousand ruby crowns. Due in part that most who would buy it then would invest in high ranking adventurers to kill it and harvest its parts.

Brain
With a 50 difficulty for even those who know and understand the creatures anatomy. This creature is considered one of the most difficult to harvest in nature. With even most illithid avoiding attempting due to the brain being remarkably toxic to the touch.
Shell
The shell is said to be near impossible to harvest perfectly due to having to pull it out in one piece rather then cracking it at the base of the beasts outer exterior. Thus one should expect a 60 difficutly when trying to harvest the shells perfectly.
Stinger Tongue
Unfortunately the tongue is rather brittle once the creature is dead. Many note it to be like a leaf in late fall, cracking at a single touch. Thus one has to tear it out while the creature yet lives with a difficulty of around 40 for the more capable monster hunters.
Living
It is unknown how to "harvest" these creatures living wise, as few adventurers rarely survive there first encounter with them. Some have managed to buy them from scattered vendors who had described them like cats. Needing to be prompted with food and to "tame" themselves.

With hours before the brain will go bad without preserving, this material greys quite quickly and wilts away.
Shell
Indefinetly if harvested correctly, if not, then 3 to 4 days before it will thin and crack away.
Stinger Tongue
Indefinetly as it appears to be made of bone with a injection of a strange juice that allows the stinger to preserve itself naturally.
Living
No recorded "old age" cause of death has ever been recorded for a single creature. With some even listed as being older then Zebrel himself.
Common Uses
Brain
Arcane and divine focuses are said to be made from the embalmed brains for those who worship gods of magic. Otherwise, it is mixed into a potion and drank by many adventurers to grant them enhanced abilities. And in some rare cases, even super natural abilities.
Shell
A strong +3 material if worked by masters of the craft. The shell is said to be strong as adamantine with mythril lightness. With both magical and psychic resistance when harvested correctly, it makes for perfect material for armor, shields and fantastical items.
Stinger Tongue
Said to be used for high ranking rogues and thieves as a status symbol, the stinger tongues act as the perfect material for a discreet dagger. With a near +3 material outright, it is said that the legendary Thousand Tongues Dagger was made from a stinger tongue. Granting it the ability to disorient from afar, stab without being in the same room, and even killing an individual without ever touching them. Truly a valuable material for those capable of crafting such weapons.
Living
Commonly treated as house cats that remove evidence of evil deeds by those who seek out fortunes that are not yet there own. Thus they are not often found out in public but instead at the houses of either wealthy nobles, or to a thieves guild's "Pig Farmer".
Description
Noted to suck the fluids and psions from the brains of those it penetrates with its long masquito like stinger tongue. This creature specializes in stealth and cameflauge. Having been noted to avoid illthid outer defences and striking those caught unaware amongst the outer hives. Noted to be as intelligent as basic apes, these creatures can be trained however keeping a mentality similar ot house cats in which they remain extremely independant. And have been noted in moments of hunger to eat there owners.
