Found most commonly in the cracked lands of the First Age, this Bleeding Tree is said to favor cold yet desolate territory. With much of the plant life around it dead, or set to die by the tree itself that seems to devour the life of other plants around it.

Going for nearly a hundred thousand diamond crowns for a single branch, these trees are extremely rare even in the perfect climate. Even rarer is one found unguarded by a beast of high intelligence. 

Resin

Absolutely useless and never sold on the open market due to its extremely poisonous nature. Acting as a whorefrost (editors note, our discovered believed the greatest ice magic to be called Whore Frost due to a superstition at the time) effect for poisons. Though on the black market this resin is said to go for near double a staffs value.

Wood

Few are willing to cut down these trees, fewer are trees that do not wither away as they get older, rotting there wood until it is nothing but saw dust.

Fruit

A blood droplet as they are called is said to be worth the weight of the adventurer who finds them in diamond crowns. These fruits are so rare and valuable that few are willing to sell them.

Easily cracking off the bark is the only difficulty of the material as it is poisonous. And it said to break through even the most poison immune individuals and creatures when not handled with extreme care. Thus the branches have a harvesting difficulty of near 25, and for those untrained in the plant or wood cutting arts, you can expect nearly triple that for the difficulty. 

Resin

Similar to the branches, the difficulty of the resin lies in the poison involved. With a difficulty of 35 for even the most experienced herbalists and wood cutters. 

Fruit

A single pluck is all one needs with no difficulty at all expected. That is assuming you have killed the guardian of the tree of course.

Resin

Indefinetly though it does harden after three months to which it then needs to be heated to a boil to once again be liquid.

Fruit

Three days, as the fruit slowly goes from a beautiful blood red to a deep digested brown. Once brown, the fruit will kill even the healthiest of individuals and will slowly turn to mush. 

Common Uses

Branch

Most often found as staffs for powerful necromancer wizards, dreadful necromancers or those of necromatic bloodlines. As the branches amplify the unholy and evil magics of the world.

Resin

While the fruit is often eaten by those who grab them, the resin finds a particularly useful value in both poison and cures. As if the resin is cured correctly, it is said to be able to act as a replacement for the clerical capabilities that remove diseases from sickly individuals. While also acting as a tastless poison when distilled down that causes a fortitude of nearly 35 difficulty to save or find yourself unconcious in the first few seconds, before finally dying moments later.

Description

A tree whos bark is extremely posionous but that bares fruit said to grant a very few the great abilities of immortality and god like powers. However, to those that are found unworthy or rather with not extremely high constitutions, this fruit will kill you outright and your body will leave a posionous red smog about it until burned and disposed of. The tree gained its name for its red tear drop like fruits, and its ghostly white bark.
