Like my father I grew up knowing that I would rise to the same standard as grandfather, and like father I would slay an ancient beast to prove my worth. Yet still my uncles look down upon me, yet still the cities that stand in the clouds yet call my name. The riches of my uncles, my father, my brothers, it will one day all be for nothing. For my name will be the only one of the Grunaga who is written about. But for now we wait, the city will grow and all will be welcomed. When the world finally calms down my goods will run through every port and town. No individual will see a giant and think anything other then Balum "Bright Beard", as my products will become the expectation, my people will reflect the high standard that I hold. Let this be a challenge to all who wish to rise high, fortunes will be mine! For I will rule the skies through gold! Just as my beautiful and lovely Oxanna has desired!

The entire time this interview went on, Regin Balum did not take his eyes off his wife Regin Oxanna who seemed to have me scratch much from this record. It is strange, each time he would threaten me, his wife would whisper something to him and he would calm. Regin Oxanna is a saint, and does not deserve to serve such an awful individual!

Though he seemed to calm I also couldnt help but notice the large amounts of statues to Oxanna there were throughout the castle chambers... something is strange.

Physical Traits

With obsidian black skin, and standing at 20ft tall, Balum was noted amongst the tallest of his brothers and tended to be just as wide. Weighing in at an astonishing 3,249lbs he was considered the largest hill giant on record. His long white beard he had as a young man would be burnt to a permanent green coloration as the dragon Laos'asi left his final marks upon the hill giant before Balum would win the lands for himself.

Notable Items

The First Grandfathers Clock, an item said to look and act as if a normal to a huge humanoid or giant. However, to other races the truth of this item shows clear, as its golden exterior, fine crystal glassware and large hour glass in the center beneath the clocks face. This clock is said to at midnight begin to fill with the blood of those slain by its owner. The blood will prompt the loud screams that follow until daybreak for all to hear that are not the attuned. This clock is said to grant its owner the ability to turn back time for exactly one hour every day up to a certain amount of charges per people sacrificed to it.

This guy was angry and had a blade to my throat twenty and three times. I do not recommend treating with him. I mentioned one small thing about his wifes kindness and now he hasn't stopped glaring since.
