Typically where large amounts of dragons can be found nesting, as they tend to be scavangers. However they tend to favor any climate that is tropical but has cold mountains nearby.
Price
Though the creatures are usually used as pack mounts for mercenary companies and farmers. They can go for nearly a thousand ruby volcanos per due to there difficulty to train.
Shell
Though nothing else on this creature is sold on the open market for any special price. The shells can be quite useful for tower shields and armaments depending on the bones the creature has been feasting upon. One with a strong shell can go anywhere from ten thousand to near a hundred thousand diamond crowns. These are considered to be high end gifts if the creature is treated well and fed right, the shells are said to make masterful art pieces.

As the only material that has any unique properties on the creature, it is surprisingly difficult to remove these shells when the creature is living. With a DC 30 only allowing the greatest craftsman and druids to keep the creature capable of making a new shell after another five years. For the dead creature however, it is surprisingly easy to get them though the quality of the material goes down. At a DC 15, when killed it is said that the calcium in the shell is pulled back to the main body to revive it. When that fails, it leaves the shell hallow looking and see through.

Common Uses
Armor and Shields
Commonly used for heavy mountain plate and tower shields, this shell material can be the finest boon to an adventurer. When without mythril, it can be used to lighten the load and give an immense strength boost to the material. Allowing for a decent alternative for heavy armor druids that wish to stand by there non metal use but need an armor that can take a punishment. It is said that some craftsman can even make heavy armor from the material that covers a wildshaped druid with ease, no matter the form.
Masterwork Art
Commonly found by artist who enjoy creating large canvas designs. These shells when harvested properly, can allow an artist with good metallurgy and blacksmith experience to craft a masterpiece. A few have been made depicting the different chapters of old wars that now hang in the throne rooms of those such as Mov'asi himself.
Description
Known for being preyed on by large roc's and huge flying creatures. The creature is noted for its magical piercing and slashing resistances. And seems to hunt creatures with thicker bones or hides, commonly wyrmling bone dragons are there favorite dishes.
