Typically the body parts of the creature aren't sold as they have little use to most craftsman. However, a master craftsman will usually offer between five to ten thousand depending on the cities wealth.

Central Brain,
Where the creatures abilities that it has drained are supposedly stored. This strange small brain has a hard shell that makes it quite difficult to crack open and sever from the body. Causing a DC 27 survival or harvesting check to make this.
Body Parts
The remaining body parts are quite easy to harvest with simple chiten shell, allowing the user a DC 20 check when harvesting the parts of this weak shelled creature.

A single week when not preserved magically. However, if kept within cold storage (-10F or below), the central brain can last up to five weeks at a time.

Surprisingly once drained, the majority of the body will keep naturally for near six months without need for care or preservation.
Common Uses
Ability Increasing Items
Known most commonly that the body parts and central brain are used for specific ability enhancers. Allowing for higher quality items with the central brain being included as having the majority of the material effect. However, the body parts of an Ability Devourer can give a decent bonus and when paired with other ability enhancing materials, ensure higher quality products.
Giant Belts of Strength
Commonly sold by young merchant groups who have managed to catch an ability devourer that was leaving the sunny wave islands. Though rare, enough of these creatures have managed to be killed that there materials can be synthesised to make a temporary copy. Creating a new item that upon a single usage burns away, but grants temporary boosts to ones own natural strength and constitution.
Description
A creature noted to be able to eat any ability score. Though they seem to each specialize in one ability which changes there appearance based on there favored score. These creatures while extremely dangerous have been noted to be able to process basic commands and understanding of empathy towards others. Similar to elephants they can be tamed because they think they are taming you. These large spider like brain pods are a unique looking creature. With a central brain that is covered in heavy chiten plating as strong as platinum. With four legs potruding from its body, the creature seems almost a descendant of the common illithid devourer and a spell gaunt like creature. It is said that when there central plating is broken, there are nearly four entire brains inside that each pulsate. However, at the center of them like a creepy brain flower, stands the stem to the creature. Its central brain which is covered in its own hard shell, seems to be the true power behind the creature and thus the most protected.
