Jekedians
Like the wolf is to every breed of dog in existence, Jekedians are the common ancestor to all ethnicities of Laidians. They have aspects of all others within themselves, with noticeable variants in the amount of which they share. They were the first Laidians to gain freedome and flee into the mountains, where they founded Sila. They hoped to finally be left to live as they were, without being disturbed, but as the Noxian invasion began they saw an influx of refugees.
Though, prizing understanding and generosity, the Jekedians welcomed them all with open arms. They taught them all Laidian culture, language, magic, and technology. They were rewarded by being left to their own, but every now and again they are asked to give anyone lost roots from which to grow - and they happily oblige.

Jekedian art is in their architecture, storytelling, and magic. Jekedian storytelling is revered by many, as it utilizes reality-bending magic to fully immerse the listener into the story.
