Famin Desert

The border lands surrounding the Rapar desert is called Famin. This area is also desert but hard ground with sparse growths, similar to the desert found in the wild west of America. The main town is called Famir. Its a desert city that is mostly involved in trade. There are multiple crystal farms spread around the Famin desert, and many come to Famir to trade their goods for supplies. Scavengers make a good trade here. They find old vehicles and other items abandoned from the Unraveling and take scraps to people who can rework them into devices that can be used in this era.   There is also a guild that resides in the city Famir called, Cat's Tail (working title). It's members help the town and surrounding areas with jobs that are too big for some people to handle. Many of the members also work as guides to people visiting the area. Helping people find what they're searching for and to keep them safe.

Geography

Flat desert plains sparsely dotted with scrubby vegetation that thrives in low rain fall. A few rivers and oases provide water, but most people use water collected via rain barrels.

Fauna & Flora

Desert plants, like thistles, sparse scrubby grasses, and some cacti grow well here. Some trees can grow, but they are small. There is also an herb that grows on the border of the Famin and the Rapar called Leonus herbs, that have the properties of combating Unraveling poisoning, as well as good for bruises in general.   Jack rabbits, coyotes, jumping mice, are commonly found in both the Famin and Rapar deserts. There is also a medium sized long tailed feline, similar to caracals that is found mostly in the Rapar, and rarely in the Famin.

Natural Resources

Power crystals can be found growing here, and there are many farms that cultivate these crystals here. Most buildings are made out of stone as trees are few and don't grow well here.
