Personal history

Born in 1958, Simon Williams was the younger of two sons born to Sanford Williams, the Founder of Roxxon Industries. Growing up spoiled by his mother and loathed by his father, Mr. Williams resented the thought of being a part of the Williams empire and dreamed of moving to Las Angeles to pursue a career in acting, while his older brother, Eric Williams, pursued a life of crime often stealing from Roxxon in defiance of his father. At the age of thirty, Mr. Williams finally landed a lead role in the movie "Death's Head" after only starring as a background extra throughout his twenties. After the success of the first "Death's Head" movie, Mr. Williams was convinced that the "Death's Head" movie franchise could be bigger than both "Die Hard" and "Predator" and the key to that success was authenticity. Mr. Williams convinced his father to let the studio shoot "Death's Head 2: Headhunting"'s final action scene in one of Roxxon's vita radiation labs. On July 19th, 1989, an accident on set resulted in Mr. Williams being bombarded by a large amount of vita radiation, bursting into a flash of light, and then vanishing. Mr. William's was thought dead until he reappeared in the same lab he vanished in. Mr. Williams' body was physically altered at a cellular level transforming Mr. Williams into pure ionic radiation. With great concentration, Mr. William's was able to reconstitute his physical form and found that his new condition gifted him several new abilities such as flight and energy projection. Seeing this as a business opportunity, Sanford Williams appointed his son as Roxxon's first official superhero. Eric Williams had a much more negative reaction envying his brother's newfound power and popularity. This dangerous sibling rivalry met a boiling point when Mr. William's attempted to prevent Eric from stealing an experimental Kree weaponry being studied at Roxxon's eastern facility. The weapon attached itself onto Eric's arm and cybernetically infused itself with Eric's physiology. In the resulting battle between the Williams brothers, Sanford Williams was killed, and Eric was put into a coma. Mr. Williams continued his dual careers of acting and superheroics even after the acquisition of Roxxon Industries under S.H.I.E.L.D. Threat #4666: Advanced Idea Mechanics/A.I.M. at the turn of the century. In 2012, Mr. Williams joined S.H.I.E.L.D. Threat #1610: The Ultimates until the events of the Ultron Incident later that year. Not much is known about what happened to Mr. Williams, but in the aftermath of the battle Mr. Williams resigned from being Roxxon's superhero and left the superhero lifestyle altogether to adopt a pacifist philosophy and focus more on his acting career. In 2013, Mr. Williams landed a role as Alex Lipton, the father of Wanda Lipton, on the television program "Wandavision" putting him in direct contact with another Omega-level threat, Avengers Initiate #6: Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch. S.H.I.E.L.D. and A.R.M.O.R. personnel are to monitor any interactions between Mr. Williams and Ms. Maximoff. Recently, Mr. Williams has agreed to the lead role in Stark: The Iron Man Story and has started to shadow Avengers Initiate #2: Anthony Stark/Iron Man to get into his role.
