Lantern of the True
When lit, the lantern provides light in a 30 foot radius. This light automatically dispels any source of magical darkness within its radius.
The lantern has 3 charges, which are renewed after a long rest. As long as the lantern has at least one charge remaining, its owner can expend charges to:
1 charge: cast Zone of Truth. The spell lasts for 10 minutes
2 charges: cast True Seeing, with a 30 foot radius
Zone of Truth
You create a magical zone that guards against Deception in a 15-foot-radius Sphere centered on a point of your choice within range. Until the spell ends, a creature that enters the spell's area for the first time on a turn or starts its turn there must make a Charisma saving throw. On a failed save, a creature can't speak a deliberate lie while in the radius. You know whether each creature succeeds or fails on its saving throw.
An affected creature is aware of the spell and can thus avoid answering questions to which it would normally respond with a lie. Such creatures can be evasive in its answers as long as it remains within the boundaries of the truth.
True Seeing
This spell gives the willing creature you touch the ability to see things as they actually are. For the Duration, the creature has Truesight, notices Secret Doors hidden by magic, and can see into the Ethereal Plane, all out to a range of 120 feet.
