Spoom Woods

This wide forest can be said to be owned by the elves, if they are ever encountered. These denizens of the forest do not come out to greet travelers unless their cities are on the verge of being threatened, discovered, or diplomatic events. This is an ancient forest, with trees older than most empires that litter the world today. For those who do know the place, it is good advice to not always follow the paths here, because they often change due to some magics that are little understood by anyone alive today.
Old Mother Tree This tree is not the tallest, however it is said to be the oldest. Its wide trunk bulges out like a pregnant woman, and under this growth, dead drops can often be found by the elves who do not wish to be seen in person. It is known as a gathering place for those adventurers who make their journey into the woods, with the knowledge that this may be one of the last “safe” campsites.
Shardiks Clearing This clearing seems to be created by some denizen long ago, with trees torn up, uprooted, and otherwise destroyed. The grass does not grow high here, but this is one of the few places in the woods where the sky can be seen clearly. It is said that at one time, the stars were counted here, and their number logged into a tome that none have ever seen.
Leiflanora This city can be said to be the capital of the elven kingdom, its dwellings built with the trees. Branches form bridges between these residences, and each home formed by natural gaps in the trees themselves. It is said that druid “singers” call to the trees when a new home is needed, and the trees grow to accommodate. The elf queen is no exception, as her palace is defended by guards, her throne a bent branch, and her room itself a masterwork of druidic creation.
