Burgomeister Ernst Maler

Red-faced, fat, and gout-ridden, Ernst Maler is the Burgomeister of Ubersreik and the head of its Town Council. He is a large, mustached man, fond of flamboyant hats and hearty fare. He has an abiding fondness for Eilhart wines, paying well over the odds to ensure he's getting the good stuff, although in truth, he really can't quite tell the difference from one wine to the next. He has a fondness for aforementioned wines and easy living.
With the coming of the Altdorfers and the replacement of Duke Sigismund von Jungfreud with the Imperial Herald, whom declared it was the Emperor's will that the council maintained the status quo whilst new rulership for Ubersreik was decided, Ernst suddenly found himself thrust onto the wider political stage, replete with threats and pitfalls, and, of course, opportunities.
