General Summary

Early Summer, 2020

E-Sea Bank, Midtown, Freedom City


During a fairly ordinary afternoon at the central branch of the Eastern Seaboard (or E-Sea) Bank in downtown Freedom City, a group of armed men led by the villainous Tazer and his accomplice Mosquito burst into the bank threatening to kill anyone who got in their way of robbing the bank.
Unbeknownst to the customers and bank employees, there were meta-normals in the bank at the time of the incident.
Kid Shadow, in the guise of Jonathan Rolland, was there with his mother who was the bank's branch manager. Jonathan's mother decided to take him to work with her for the morning, then take the afternoon off to spend the day with Jonathan.
Blue Comet, in his secret ID as Ron Cobbler, was also in the bank to set up a direct deposit.
Void, who was publicly known as Tobin Price the Action Man, was also inside the bank since the ATM machine outside was not working when he tried to withdraw cash in preparation for a weekend of fun and thrills with friends he knew in Freedom City.
Meanwhile, a cyborg named Uplink who was from the distant future had recently appeared a few blocks away. As a safety precaution, most of Uplink's memory was deleted so he couldn't provide any information about the future to anyone he encountered. However, he could still recall his mission objective and reason for being sent to the past. Despite not knowing entirely why, he knew he had to help the others stop Tazer and Mosquito.
Together, the meta-normals were able to defeat Tazer and Mosquito.
Both were taken away by the United States Elite Law Enforcement Security Service, or U.S.E.L.E.S.S., to be locked up in their maximum security prison.
Before news reporters could arrive to interview the meta-normals, they all either left the scene or slipped back undetected into their private IDs. Except for Void, that is, who gave an embellished account of his heroic part in saving the customers of E-Sea Bank.
