Sorcerous Origin: Penumbral Spirit in Shadows of Evermore | World Anvil

Sorcerous Origin: Penumbral Spirit

The Convergence left its mark upon you, changing you forever. When Drellia was shattered, so were you. You can feel the pull between realms, you are calmed by the darkness, and when you approach the shadows that plague the plane, you do not feel the cold. As time goes on, you begin to feel a greater and greater connection to the Convergence and over the very shadows themselves.   Welcome in the Cold While others feel an icy chill from the shadows, you are able to withstand the cold, no matter what equipment you wear. You have resistance to cold damage.   True Penumbral Vision You feel at home in the shadows and know how to make your way through them unscathed. You have both darkvision and the ability to see through magical darkness up to 60 ft.
Mobility in Light and Shadow Starting at 6th level, you find that your maneuverability shifts depending on light conditions. While in bright light or daylight, you can dash or disengage as a bonus action by spending 1 sorcery point. While in dim light or darkness, you are unaffected by difficult terrain and gain advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks for a number of minutes equal to your Charisma modifier by spending 1 sorcery point.   Converge the Shadows At 14th level, you begin to develop a mastery over all shadows and feel a deepening connection to the Convergence. You can use your action to bend the shadows around your opponents, even using their own shadow against them.   As an action, one creature you can see within 60 feet must make a Dexterity Save against your Spell Save DC or be restrained by the shadows. Using your Concentration (as if you were concentrating on a spell) you can keep the creature restrained for up to 1 minute and they can use their action to attempt to escape. As long as the creature is restrained you can use your Bonus Action to spend 1 sorcery point to deal 1d12 + Charisma cold damage it.   You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier and regain all uses of it at the end of a long rest.   Unlock the Convergence At 18th level, your connection to the Convergence is integral to your being, unlocking the true potential of all of your abilities.   Your Welcome in the Cold feature grants you immunity to cold damage.   With your True Penumbral Vision, you can, as an action, spend 2 sorcery points and gain 60 feet of Truesight for a number of minutes equal to your Charisma modifier.   The effects of your Mobility in Light and Shadow are no longer dependent on light conditions.   When you use your Converge the Shadows ability, you can spend up to 5 sorcery points per bonus action, doing an extra 1d12 + Charisma for each additional sorcery point spent.
