Scruffy bearded and dour faced, El Jefe operates the TerraFirst! organization’s cell in central Amazonia, seeking to keep the planet safe from ecological destruction by greedy mega-corporations. Unlike many TerraFirst! Activists, El Jefe is not considered a radical – the earth does not need to be cleansed, just repaired. Some believe that “soft spot” comes from geography – Amazonia responds better to eco-terrorism than most nations – and others believe he is just weak. Whatever the reason, don’t let his ideology fool you. He’ll take hostages, demo corporate property and even assassinate VP’s that sign off on deforestation projects.
