TATA HOTSPUR
Knowing this was up next is why I said the Morgan can
outrun “just about anything on the dirt.” Even on the
worst terrain, the Hotspur will leave the Morgan in its
dust. Hell, the Hotspur can run off-road faster than most
cars run on it. It was designed and developed for offroad
racing and has evolved to handle the worst conditions
the Awakened world can toss its way. Running on
wheels with heavy-duty shocks on independent sponsons
that allow over a meter of travel, the Hotspur has
little reason to slow over any type of terrain.
Unlike the Morgan, the Hotspur is built with riggers in mind, including an option for a built-in rigger cocoon. The navigator still has a normal seat, but the rigger operates the truck from the safety of his own little life pod. Due to the dangers of the Awakened deserts that the Hotspur usually races across, the vehicle is sometimes equipped with weapon mounts. The trucks are usually fitted with a safety system to prevent using the weapons on each other.
