Rolls-Royce Phaeton
ROLLS-ROYCE PHAETON
The Rolls-Royce Phaeton was once the premier limousine,
but years of competitors copying their style
and Rolls-Royce refusing to change made the Phaeton
nothing more than another long car like all the rest.
When the line ended in ’69, many thought they were
done, collapsed from being stubborn. Their revelation
of a new model for this year will change all that. That
is, if Rolls-Royce can keep their new tech in house long
enough to get their initial run out the door before their
competitors steal their ideas and undercut them again.
As a new model, in fact one that hasn’t even hit the
streets, you have to be wondering how it made a list of
rigger’s favourites. It’s because of the rumours. The new
tech in the Phaeton is a SOTA rigger interface that allows
a fully jumped-in rigger to slide between the Phaeton
and other drones connected to its PAN.
