Eamon Kennelly
Mr. Tanaka was a skilled negotiator for the Renraku corporation. He first appeared as a middle-aged Japanese man of stern expression. He was meeting with Magwyn at the Royal Ronin, and later displeased her when his Renraku masters backed out of their arrangement.
Magwyn got her vengeance by putting out a rumor that assassins were looking for Mr. Tanaka and then manipulating him towards a gene clinic that she owned to undergo extensive surgery to his appearance. Using the DNA of O'dundin, he rewrote his genes to match his, effectively becoming a clone of O'dundin in both appearance and at the microscopic level.
When O'dunin came to Magwyn looking for a new SIN that could get him to Tír na nÓg, she pointed him towards Mr. Tanaka, now going by Eamon Kennelly. As a perfect double who also happened to be one of Renraku's ambassadors to Tír na nÓg, his identity would be perfect. Magwyn just requested that O'dundin remove him for her.
O'dunin instead chose to warn him to go into hiding. Magwyn, not pleased, killed Kennelly. First using telekinesis to force himself to smash his own head against the mirror, and then finishing the job with her bare hands, all the while never breaking eye contact with O'dundin. She applied Kennelly's blood to her lips and then warned O'dundin with a kiss that tasted of his doppelganger's blood.
Officially, Kennelly is on vacation until June 2058. Until then, O'dundin has access to all of the dead man's assets and privileges as a Renraku corporate citizen.
