Nightbridge

The wide rings of reflective substance that orbit Shadowfire.  Made from the ejected molten core of the planet during the Destruction.  The Nightbridge is high in the sky at the equator, and circles the horizon at the poles.  It is visible on Sunside  and mot but the deepest dark of Shadowside  as it relfects the light of the sun.  On Shadowside, the light that is reflected in bright enough to see by - and enough for adapted plants to gather a small amount of energy via photosynthesis.
