Darklord

the mystically imprisoned and cursed ruler of a domain in Shadowfell. A Darklord was originally a person (or monster) who committed a truly horrific crime, which drew the attention of the enigmatic Klorr who then proceeded to craft a personal kingdom around the Darklord and assigned a Dark Power to the Domain.  This domain is both a kingdom and a prison, for the Darklord gains incredible powers whilst within it but can never leave it.  Also, each Darklord is subject to a Tantalusesque curse.
