Yiztul is fiercely patriotic and loyal to the Empire and the Sith Order. While she follows the Sith Code closely, she has been known to have a unique interpretation among her peers. She was often described as altruistic due to her showing concern for the well-being of others within the Empire. She firmly believes that everyone has their role to play, hoping her concern ignites change in the person(s) so they may begin to break their own chains, like how the academy did for her.
