The All-Father

The god of Giants and creator of this realm, the All-Father is only referred to in title by Giantkin and is revered as the god of their people and the world that the Fractals of Shadar float amidst. Inherently tied to the domains of birth, fertility, nature, and creation - the All-Father is often depicted as a massive cosmic Giant of proportions that make even the Giants of the Courts of Divia look small. It is said he made the cloud and storm Giants of the Age of Antiquity and views all giants of other realms to be lesser.
Many depictions of the All-Father show him as being made entirely of gold or covered in golden jewelry - reminiscent of the distant sun that he is said to have created with his own body. It is for this reason that Giants and Giantkin tend to favor wearing gold or making offerings of gold, as it is said to be part of him.

CREATION OF THE REALM

The core creation myths of this realm are tied to the works of the All-Father. Giantkin myths tell of how he brought light to this dark realm by removing one of his luminous eyes and placing it in the distant heavens to endlessly traverse the infinite expanse - creating the sun. While much of the realm is constantly covered in clouds - the ancient smoky breath of Greatwyrm Dragons according to the same legends - on particularly clear days, the faint outline of the sun can be seen in the distance through the haze of thin clouds. Giantkin refer to this as the “Eye of the All-Father”, the source of their common phrase for sworn truth “under the light of the All-Father”.
It is there in the distant edge of the realm that these myths also claim the clouds end and give way to the endless expanse. Some stories claim visions of “stars” at the edges of this realm, and many Giantkin believe this to be the gold-covered castles of the Courts of Divia that fled during the War of the World Tree to be closer to the All-Father. Harpies however have conflicting creation myths of the realm.

WORSHIPING THE ALL-FATHER

Most Giantkin by birth and blood worship the All-Father who created their ancestors. Their worship often takes the form of prayer that occurs on sunrise and sunset on whatever Fractal or Skyship they find themselves on - as well as the pursuit of gold as offering and gathering of the All-Father.
To Giantkin who follow the domains of the All-Father, they see the nature of this realm as holy and have a reverent and respectful view of procreation and childbirth to continue the blood of Giants to watch over his creation.
