Screams and howls erupt from the ground as a wall of ethereal fire and skulls appear. You can make the wall up to 30 feet long, 10 feet high, and 1 foot thick, or a ringed wall up to 15 feet in diameter, 10 feet high and 1 foot thick. If the wall cuts through a creature's space when it appears, teh creature must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the creature takes 4d8 necrotic damage and the target's hit point maximum is reduced by the same amount. The reduction lasts until they finish a long rest.
When a creature enters the wall's area for the first time on a turn or starts its turn there, they must make a Constitution saving throw.
