Shoulder Cannon
5th-level conjuration
Casting time: 1 action
Range: 30 feet
Target: --
Components: S, M (scrap metal and wiring worth
at least 100 gp, which the spell consumes)
Duration: Concentration, up to 1 minute
Classes: Artificer
Subclasses:
You configure the scrap metal and wiring used as the material components to create a shoulder-mounted cannon and then deploy it onto a willing creature you can see within range. Until the spell ends, the target can use a bonus action to cause the cannon to fire an orb of arcane force that detonates in a 10-foot radius sphere centered on a point the target can see within 60 feet of it. Each creature and object in the area must make a Dexterity saving throw, taking 4d10 force damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one.
When the spell ends, the cannon falls apart into the material components used to create it, and you can reclaim those material components as an action on your turn while you’re within 5 feet of them.
