Mako Gunfoil

The HSMBC Mako-class gun interceptor is a high speed hydrofoil designed and used by HSMBC. The Mako features twin high performance engines that propel the hydrofoil to sustained speeds of over 100 km/h. At these speeds, set of fully submerged fins generate enough lift to pull the main hull of the hydrofoil out of the water, greatly reducing drag.
The Mako sees extensive usage by HSMBC Blackwater as a fast attack craft. It is also available for purchase for personal, commercial and paramilitary uses. It is rumored Blackwater also operates a "stealth" variant that is virtually undetectable to modern sensors.

Weapons & Armament

The Mako comes standard with prow turret, which can mount a .50 cal heavy machine gun or 20 mm autocannon. The bow offers more space for a second turret, which can be replaced with an electronics warfare kit or other advance weapon emplacements.

Armor and defense

The Mako comes standard with self-sealing armored bulkhead, which protects the Mako from small arms fire and reduces the risk of flooding during an extended firefight. An optional a low radar reflectance coating is also available.
