A World of Heroes & Villains

Good and evil are simple words and the world is rife with both virtue and vice. The constant conflicts of the islands give way for those with the ambition and power to make their mark upon the world.
The world of the 5 seasons is not crystal clear, and neither is its justice. War and struggle is but a pursuit of power and prosperity, and each villain is the protagonist of their own tale. When good people are willing to commit atrocities, and villains wish to pursue peaceful resolutions, who can say to hold the moral right in the world?
Concepts of alignment, good, evil, law and chaos are not as strong as they may be in parallel worlds and do not hold sway against the actions or the aura of mortal creatures. Deep in the annals of the outer planes however, the primordial energy of alignments continues to influence the machinations of these outsiders. Perhaps indirectly, mortals take influence too.
