The assult on Birdsong Palace in Meratt County signified a diffinitive first step for Princess Eutropia Stavian I.

After spending months gaining the support of the local people both common and noble of the County of Meratt, agents of Princess Eutropia Stavian I, known as the Scions of Betony, assulted the Birdsong Palace.   The palace sat at the seat of the county in Lotheedar, Taldor, and was home to the ruling family, the Lotheeds. Bartelby Lotheed was the current steward and Count of the county. The assault resulted in his death and many more as blood flowed through the halls.
